@ImmodderNation

Rubbing alcohol and a qtip.
@jimfath

Supplemental: Mix a spray bottle of half isopropyl alcohol and half distilled water (NOT tap). This is a generic all purpose electronic cleaner that breaks down oil and evaporates quickly leaving no residue. (tap has a lot of minerals in it) I use this when I clean desk phones, cell phones, mice, and headsets (among others). Traditional cleaners and soaps can sometimes lower the efficacy of the silicone push buttons after you have cleaned them. If you want to sanitize, you can increase the alcohol to 60% and lower the water to 40%. We do this when recertifying a headset. Works great on ear wax and oil on ear buds. They come out like brand new. Also great for removing make up from some devices.
@ImmodderNation
@ImmodderNation Год назад
Good advice, thanks. I've got some airpods that need cleaning too. I try to use gentle soap since alcohol can make silicon dry and brittle.

Hi! I just want to ask, what about controller parts that have stickers attached to them? Such as the stickers on the bottom of the Mario Paint mouse. Would those come off if I let them soak in hydrogen peroxide?

question instead using the sunlight can I use a UV light that I got? And can use any peroxide hydrogen from drugstore 3% or 12%?

3% works but 12% is better. Just be sure to use gloves. UV light should be fine as long as you wear protective eyewear.

Hydrogen peroxide solution is mostly water and unless its boiling, it shouldn't matter. I don't know what kind of sun you have, but i've done this many times and the temperature of the sun has never been an issue.

Try to find a flathead that is the same size and use that to unscrew. You might need Screw Grab to get it out or just drill through the head, pull out the screw, and replace when you put it back together.
