As promised, here is the list of equipment and materials that goes with this video!
Equipment
Washing up bowls
New sponge scourer for a strong scrub
Old sponge scourer for a softer scrub
Old toothbrush - firm
Old toothbrush - soft
Old cake cooling rack
Comb / brush (doll size or human size whichever you find easier to use)
Hair clips
Hair curlers
Hair bands - soft flat style
Materials
Washing up liquid
Cream cleaner
Hydrogen Peroxide solution (Buy over the counter in a pharmacist shop).
Hand soap.
Hair shampoo
Hair conditioner
Oxy 10 or another brand of acne cream (it is a cream which contains an ingredient to kill germs but it works well to remove stains plastic)
Cling film
Water

Excellent video! Recently my daughter wanted to get her Cindy doll collection valued , a woman contacted my daughter from the Doll and Musical instrument agency in Vancouver, they requested we send pictures of all 37 doll in her collection with a value fee of 350$ Canadian, . Approximately a woman telephoned my daughter from their value team and they told her the dolls were worthless because she had cut the hair of some and the others were covered in damage which is untrue. My daughter is absolutely devastated. Please help!

Hi! For getting deep dirt off non painted areas id recommend a magic eraser! It can really get deep dirt! Great video! 💕

Also nail varnish remover takes everything off face of dolls.

Wire wool removes any ink stains.

Thank you, this is so helpful!! Speaking of the eyelashes, do you have a video about replacing the eyelashes? I can do a lot of things when fixing up dolls, but I've never bothered learning to properly reroot hair, let alone lashes! Daunting, lols.

Nice video. I've found my Sindy dolls on the attick. They are 45 years old. But they feel so waxy and sticky (on the soft rubber). And their hair are so dry. I don't know what to do with them. It is still save for kids to play with them. They are from the 70.

That's exciting! Well, I wouldn't recommend giving them to pre-school children, because they have parts in them that would no longer pass health and safety standards. But older children might enjoy them if they can be trusted to play with them carefully? Hopefully they will wash up well - let me know how it goes 😀

I also have my daughters Sundays.wash bodies and hair in washing up liquid in bowl of warm water.rinse hair in neat lenor rinse and comb.i even used lenor on my daughters hair when run out of conditioner.brilliant for all my daughters had long tight wranglers lenor was beautiful

I can’t buy Oxy10 in Canada, I wonder if volume peroxide you add to hair dye would work? 🧐

Yes do look for something with a safe amount of peroxide in it (as in anything that's sold as safe over the counter in a chemist). Oxy10 is an acne cream and the good thing is that you can blob it on the doll's spots. So ask the pharmacist for an acne cream with peroxide. I just checked the pack and Oxy10 has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide. Hope that helps!
