After completing renewing my Valliant diverter valve with support frm yourself, I undertook draining n adding inhibitor. Glad I did it. Spot on again fella.
Thank you for the simple explanation of the important basics and good advice. My filter was installed a couple of month ago. Yes, magnet caught some particles exactly the same way as in your video. In addition there were some flaky stuff at the bottom of the filter. It would not escape on its own while draining filter - had to take the filter of to wash it out. It will be nice if you could add the correct way of removing and placing back the filter canister without damaging the rubber seals.
Hi. Excellent video, clear and easy to understand and follow. Whoever installed ours put the top on too tight, I don’t want to apply too much pressure and possibly break tool or worse the cover. Any thoughts on how to solve this. Thanks Stuart Munro
Great video can you please do videos on testing boiler parts like themisters pumps valve for resistance voltage etc.. Great work keep it up and i just subscribed
Brill video, straight forward to follow & great tips.. 💯🔥 Have you ever installed/seen the cura brass magnetic filters at all.. Seen them on the bes website..
Hey that is a very concise and informative video. I really like your delivery too. Very helpful . I like the tip on adding inhibitor very helpful for a diy person.
Thanks for the video. Going attempt this soon. The two valves you turn off at the start, they’re really at the back and in a tight corner. I assume you have to turn the two valves off and no other way? Thanks
Thanks for making it look so easy straight to the point no huffing and puffing like a lot of plumbers do and I know I’ve cleaned it thoroughly and happy👍
Just found you on tiktok, your videos are brilliant. I have a Magnaclean fitted but it's the 1st one without the valve underneath. I cleaned mine the other day, first time I have noticed in 10 yrs instead of the gunk stuck to the magnet being black, mine was a brownish colour. Is this rust from the rads, I am thinking of upgrading all the rads soon. Thanks for any advice.
Excellent, thank you for this thorough explanation in simple not plumber lingo. There are lots of bits to remember though as is the order. My one doesn't have green for on. So how do you know its off?
thanks for the video ! :D unfortunately my valves are not indicated by any way. I turned them the other way then they were , when I try to bleed it out, the water does not stop :D its coming out very slowly but continuously.
Good video, did not know the valves could be turned off/on using the spanner fitting, had not noticed it, was just using the valve handles. Also weird place for a boiler/pipes in a bedroom? Looks like a conversion from some other type of room ie airing cupboard to wall knocked through bedroom.
….thanks….this video is like “ dummies guide on how to clean and top up manga clean “ , even I can do this! …got your sub and looking forward to other vids. Love the one how you installed baxi 800 from start to end ( my bros having that installed and enjoyed watching it ). Can you do a vid about what yearly service involves and how long it should take and what they should be servicing and check as I think the eng ripped me off as he disappeared after 10 mins service !.
Brilliant. Just did it. My plumber explained to me very carefully and slowly how to do this and I predictably almost immediately forgot the second he walked out the door so this was invaluable. Thanks!
Not a good idea to clean it the customers hand basin, if you drop the magnet it will break the basin. Clean bucket of water. Instructive video though 👍
Hi I have the bigger one pro4 sense. , it’s showing a fault still on greens though, so I took it out to clean and it looks like the plastic thing should spin on the magnet metal thing, mine seems to have picked some crap up and worn a ridge on the magnet and the plastic, making it too tight for it to spin, does it spin? 😂
@@PlumbingDoctors thank you, I tried to do this but the top seems stuck? I closed the valves and opened the pressure valve ( no water came out ) I then tried to open the top but it’s stuck.. any advise please?
@@staceysky9989 you have to use some force it can be quite stiff. Just hold the body of the filter when you twist so you don't disturb the compression nuts
Salam brother Engineer installed flat panel radiators today, but after even single radiators not working I have a single pipe system Please help me with how to sort out JazakALLAH
