Reshoevn8r Cleans A Pair Of Unreleased Air Jordan 1 "University Blue"!
In today's Shoe Care Academy cleaning tutorial, Jonny Bubbles shows us the best way to clean the Air Jordan 1 "University Blue". In today's cleaning, Jonny used the Reshoevn8r Essential Kit to clean the uppers, midsole and outsole. After the getting the suede wet, it was a little crunchy so he used the Reshoevn8r Dry Suede Kit to reset the nap of the suede. In order to keep these Air Jordan 1 "University Blues" in the best condition possible, Jonny applied our Sole Shields to the bottom of the shoe and also our Water + Stain Repellent to prevent any new stains on the shoe.

i used plain water with a little bit of crep to clean one spot on my midnight navys and the nubuck completly faded, you have to clean nubuck dry

I’ve found that cuticle pushers can help restore the soft texture of suede. Just don’t push too hard or you’ll end up with what’s under it.

Try dry cleaning them first to see if that works, if not then you'll be fine to wet them. Just don't over saturate the suede/nubuck.

All the other suede videos Vick says not to let any water touch the suede but you cleaned with it no problem. What’s the best way to do it, just with the suede brush and eraser or with the soft bristle and solution?

Hello Richard! Our solution works on most materials, including suede and nubuck. We do want to point out that suede can be more challenging to clean. In some applications, you may see some color bleeding, transfer, or color loss. Suede may require a dry clean with a medium bristle brush and a suede eraser. If the shoes are still dirty after dry cleaning, you can use our normal cleaning method using a soft bristle brush, solution, and some water.

It’s not possible to un crease this nubuck without fading the blue nubuck. I personally just embrace the creases and store my university 1s with Reshoevn8r shoe trees.

The dents occur when you wear the shoes. The toe box creases and the nubuck is soft, so it creases easily. Store your Is with the shoe trees to maintain the shoe shape.
