Hey afew questions. I have Train Clean Effects and heatpump. So the first year the Clean Effects worked amazing! Only had to dust once a week instead of every day like normal and you could just tell it was good quality air. After the first year it seems like it's not really doing much. When it was new you could hear it running, it sounded like lots of energy flowing-a high pitch sound, well it no longer makes that noise. We do keep it pretty clean though we have never cleaned the inside of charger tray, it never looked that dirty, I read somewhere if you don't clean that every 2 months it won't work good like it did when new. So just a bit ago I cleaned literally everything, put it back together and it still doesn't make that high pitched noise like when new, I turned the lights out and they are lit up blue so they are working. So basically is that common for them to not work good after as year or so? Next question is it designed to use a regular filter like on normal units or is it best not to? I was thinking about using a good air filter- we normally use a basic one thinking it would be easier on the unit not trying to suck so hard- ours is actually set up like yours except ours doesn't have a top on it.
My pre-filter light has been blinking. The pre-filter is brand new and all other filters have been professionally cleaned by my heating company. They claim they don't know why it's still blinking. Any suggestions? I called American Standard and they said they can't help.
I have a question please, I have the the trane xv95 and have 3 red flashing lights. I went through the cleaning steps but still getting the 3 red flashing lights. Also when I turned it off and after discharging the reset button keeps blinking. Please tell me what to do. Thanks
the red light doesn’t sense the dirt in the filters, the lights are basically a timer that counts down to when they turn red, where you then clean the cells. you need to just hold the reset button for 5 seconds as he said toward the end of the video. that will give you just the bottom green light only that will be flashing. then that’s it.
