I was taught to do 4 boils 1st three for 2hrs just plain water. after each 1st three boils pour water off. It cuts the grease. 4th boil add ya seasoning peppers, and onion n potatoes
Doing all the Boling, you're pouring off a lot of the flavor. If you want to remove the grease cook them the day before, refrigerate them, then pick off all the grease. Thank you for watching and God bless you 😊
How are you pouring off the seasoning if your boiling them in plain water for 1hr,rinse chittlins, and boil in plain water again..do that 2/3 times last time once you see no more fat impurities. add your potatoes, onions, green bell pepper, whole garlic clove. And your spices! You have a blessed day as well😁
@dreday6364 you are absolutely correct, I was also taught to do a couple of boils then pour the water off. Even when you buy them cleaned you still have to do that because as you see here, they're still dirty, I agree with you.
@@laciguidry6302exactly ms lady. Someone else that knows how to properly do chittlins 👏🏾🥰A lot of these tubers. Make videos of cleaning and cooking chittlins. I haven’t seen anybody do them correct way.. guess I’ll be the one. Next time some is in stores!… I do like how she rinsed them in plain water. This new generation of limes/lemons baking soda vinegar..smh… you will never see granny or aunt 70 + clean meat that way. Just plain water

These are some peppers I got at the farmers market. I don't know what kind they are, but if you buy the Serrano peppers they would be the same. When you get them, wash them, put them in a Mason jar and fill it with white vinegar and a few cloves of garlic. That's it. Thank you for watching and God bless 😊
