Virtual Disk Service error: Clean is not allowed on the disk containing the current boot, system, pagefile, crashdump or hibernation volume. 🙃

I tried alot and didn't work, Under the "Fs" column My Pendrive is labeled "RAW" and "Status" is "Healthy".When I clean or format the drive CMD gives a Response like: "DiskPart has encountered an error: A device which does not exist was specified. See the System Event Log for more information."

if cleaning is not successful what is other options?

my sandisk cruzer glide 16GB suddenly "write protected" cannot format and checkdisk. only can read,not write anymore ,so bad sandisk quality!!! easeUS software also cannot format it!!! H:\>format H: Insert new disk for drive H: and press ENTER when ready... The type of the file system is NTFS. Verifying 14.3 GB Cannot format. This volume is write protected. Format failed.

FILESYSTEMS - Display current and supported file systems on the volume. FORMAT - Format the volume or partition. GPT - Assign attributes to the selected GPT partition. HELP - Display a list of commands. IMPORT - Import a disk group. INACTIVE - Mark the selected partition as inactive. LIST - Display a list of objects. MERGE - Merges a child disk with its parents. What if I am trying to delete what is on the laptop? What seems to be locked. Or even the operating system because couldn't I just reinstall a new operating system?
