Yes it works I have a 150 motorbike and it was burning rich so the plug fouleded and I soaked the tip of my spark plug for at least 3 hours and then brushed off the black gunk with a toothbrush it works fine now.......respect from Jamaica 👍👍👍🇯🇲
😅this really works good I wonder what’s the chemical reaction that happens , because after I check the plugs 3 hours after the vinegar smells like battery acid 🎉🎉🎉good hack, After brushing it I rinsed the bottom part with water this thing idles like I put brand new plugs 😂I’m not gonna buy plugs for a while
10hours, too long to wait. Especially when in a few minutes they'll be back to the sane condition if you don't fix why they got dirty in the first place.
You're correct~! Certainly want to repair the underlying problem that's causing plugs to get fouled. My first attempt at fixing the issue plaguing my secondary vehicle was to replace the plugs, yet, later discovered water (from snow melting) had seeped into the fuel tank, so ended up replacing the entire spider fuel injection system on top of the Vortec 5.7 engine (chevy). This got the engine up & running again, albeit, roughly & often backfiring. At this point, the truck no longer cranks up. Getting fuel to the system, just no spark. Seems the last thing I should have replaced were the plugs. So, now I'm cleaning the (practically-brand-new) plugs, since there's built up carbon & gunk from remnants of H2O in the fuel system. My 1st thought was to quickly grab my can of carb-cleaner & hit with wire brush. Yet, I figured I'd poke around here. I clean almost everything with vinegar diluted with H2O. Super cheap, very safe & works awesome for everything. Why not use if for the plugs! Thanks!
I have a SL500 with the legendary M113 V8…only thing is it’s 16 plugs..2 per cyl and the only recommend plug is the Bosch iridium I’m not spending 160 on plugs for my temporary daily! So for guys like us. We’re gonna try other options. You can send me the $160 if you got anything to say
