Did you ever watch these shoe shine videos where different people actually have a person shine their leather shoes? I would think that method would be better minus the buffing it to a shine.
Hey Mitch! Love the channel. Been watching a ton of your videos... I'm now a baseball dad/coach. Just got my son an 11" Rawlings R9, it has a single post web and the thing broke in nice, but it is LOOSEY GOOSEY now. I'm wondering if i should tackle it myself or take to a shop, is this a service you do? I'm in Illinois, so i could ship over the winter. Let me know if you look at this! Thanks man!
Mitch, just found your channel looking for glove repair. I see your direction to connect with you on instagram. But I'm not on instagram. How do we ger in touch? I have three gloves I'm looking to have reworked, laced, etc
I have used a smaller needle before, but I think I lost it so Ive just been cutting the end of the lace where the needle goes and then just pulling it through with my pliers
The laces for some gloves are thinner than plain rawhide strips you can usually find in a store. Find a leather shop that can sell you thinner strips, or get them from a baseball retailer online.
Any ideas on how to tighten up on inside where fingers are? My son glove is loose on hand and stretch over time and feels like it’s going slip off. Thanks
The inside of the glove? like the actual leather part where your fingers go? only thing would be tightening the wrist so the hand stays in, but the actual inside leather components you wouldn't be able to tighten
Hey Marcus! Thanks for watching!!! The best way would be to use a tooth brush, it gets in there a little deeper to clean, and it can fit in those hard to reach spots
It matters if people are throwing somewhat hard. Pretty much if you're over 14 years old. All star does the 3/16 in their webs, and they break more often than most gloves.
Hey Mitch. We can't understand what you are saying because you are playing the un necessary music too loud. Lose the music if you want your message to get thru.
Appreciate the feedback! I’d love to help explain it in better detail if needed! I’ve changed a few cleaning techniques since this video came out 4 years ago!
