You do not caulk cracked mortar joints!!! They’re supposed to be cut out and pointed back, caulking cause major water damage as water is trapped in where mortar lets the moister out

Use lemon juice, vinegar, or tea tree oil on moss and moldy areas to keep it from coming back. But most importantly, solve the dampness problem. Something nearby is draining on the brick surface or there’s puddled water nearby.

This is all wrong. Supposed to do from bottom up to prevent streaks.

No, you do the exact opposite of what you just said. Top down to prevent streaks. You start at the top, water runs down the wall. Streaks on the wall is removed as you work your way down the wall finishing off at the bottom.

@@J97H51 No you are incorrect bottom up. Streaks happen when water streams down on dry brick. Bottom-up always ensures the brick below it is wet preventing streaks. Top-down there will be layers of dry brick with some water filtering down cleaning longer the surrounding parts longer bc of gravity. Bottom-up always
