Nice video. A few things could have been done differently to improve the process and safeguard the entire cooling system, first drain the radiator to remove all old rusty water, then add the cleaning chemical to flush it. This will enhance flushing efficiency and allow the entire cycle to be done just once. After draining the cleaning chemical water, fill the system with clean water, run the engine for 10 minutes and then drain. This will ensure that the water in the engine block also gets drained. Now the last cycle comes, add coolant concentrate and fill with adequate water. Using concentrate will be cheaper and environmentally responsible, you will only need one bottle of coolant vs four or five bottles. Don't forget to flush the radiator reservoir tank as it is filled with rust particles which will come back into the cooling system. If you can't remove the thermostat valve for this entire flushing procedure, then run the engine in all three cycles of cleaning, flushing and coolant filling till the radiator fan comes on. Make sure to follow the directions on the cleaning chemical bottle as these are harsh chemicals and can cause leakage in the radiator or metal pitting of the water circuit in the engine block, if improperly used.

We can clean the Radiator Rust with Citric Acid Powder which is called ( Tatri ) in Urdu, it is easily in any mart, it is used in making Chat. It is little cheaper, it can be used for other things too. Using tatri for rust removing is simple and easy mix 100g of tatri in warm water and put any thing in that water the rust will vanish after 10 to 15 minutes. Price of 100g of tatri is Rs. 100, tatri dissolves in water so it will not choke radiator cooling system.

Salam Pakwheels Management! I wanted to ask a very common thought that comes into every used old car owners like 15 or 20 year old cars. Now whenever you ask a Machanic that you're using car on Normal water and now wanna flush it and move to coolent so whether one should use radiator flush or not cause yes it is rust cleaner. Now the problem with old cars it that their pipes and waterbody because or water had already been rusted and common sense says it might leak any pipes or waterbody because of it's rust cleaning chemicals. The machanics always suggest that. Owner's of Cars and radiators like Zille Subhan's must not use radiator flush which might leak the waterbody or like in my case, my suzuki khuber's piped because of extentive rust suffered minor leaks. Question: Now Sir, as the video didn't tell us the Expert opinion of Pakwheels in this regard that whether it's just a mith and it was my bad luck that i happened to me or actually it happens and one should only drain the radiator and use coolent only instead. Never use it on old radiators because it will surely remove the rust but ur radiator will start leaking from different places... So if ur radiator is not that old then u do it otherwise it's a no no...

Your process of radiator flush is completely wrong. First, remove the bottom hose of the radiator when your car is at normal temperature (after running for 15 minutes) and flush the whole water. Then refix the hose and fill the water body with fresh water mixed with radiator flush additive (any product that suits your budget) then start the car, get it to the temperature where the thermostat valve opens and the fan starts. Now again repeat the process, remove the bottom hose and flush the whole water in the body. Now refix the hose and fill the radiator with coolant. you are good to go now. 🙂
