I have to say, maybe it is like a placebo effect, but after doing this, I feel like my case is less yellow, but it is still a bit yellow

A clear phone case doesn't turn yellow, it gets more yellow. Transparent cases all have a yellow tint, but manufacturers put blue tint to make it seem clear

You're probably watching this video because you have a brown/yellow phone case and you want to make it look brand new again. Well, DO NOT DO ANY OF THIS. Most of these chemicals are harsh and will just destroy the texture and quality of your phone case. I tried this on my clear phone case, and instead of the brown dissapearing, it got worse, spreading to areas that weren't affected before. The texture changed and the phone case bent on one side, and was peeling off. To sum up, if you have a yellow/brown-looking clear phone case, JUST BUY A NEW ONE, or fill it up with stickers and art to make it less noticeable, if you cannot buy a new one. I always buy clear phonecases that have black edges, so they don't turn or look brown.

yes, it's because they used someone else's video from youtube where the guy actually mentions that water + soap didn't work so he used the baking soda + vinegar technique
