This is a dream. I hadn;t used a boxed new cartridge for 2 years, I refused to waste it all and it was a mission, but after using boiling water twice overnight it finally worked!

Currently waiting on my cartriges in the water. Thank you for posting this easy tutorial. I hadnt used my printer in almost a year because of moving new house and new jobs, so my printer was having a lot of trouble. Thank you again these kinds of videos are always appreciated by people like me who dont really have anyone to help out with fixes like these at home.

Thanks for this. Just loaded a sealed cartridge that I've had for a year or so and encountered this problem. Was getting very frustrated until I saw your video. It worked and saved my buying a new cartridge so, many thanks 🙂

This worked for me! Thank you. I soaked mine for my hp deskjet 2700 series printer for almost a half hour and it is printing fine now. Follower the steps exactly. I did it for both the color and the black cartridge even though it was just the black having a problem. The black is no longer missing lines at all even though the dabs on the paper towel showed the line tapering off on one end. Working great now. Thanks!

This worked perfectly! After running the clean cartridges 3 times it still wasn't printing fully. Did this, popped UT back in the printer, beautiful!! ❤

This really works, I was able to revive my HP color cartridge that hadn't used for over a year and the printer was giving an orange warning light. I tried dipping in warm water and that didn't fully fix the issue, so as a last resort I dipped it in boiling water for about 5 mins and cleaned the bottom every few mins. Now the print quality is much better and the warning ligt is gone. Hope this helps!

Didn't work for my black ink cartridge in my deskjet 3755. I followed all the instructions in the video and now my printer/pc is saying the cartridge is damaged/defected.
