Cleaning your Driveway and Patio with Sodium Hypochlorite / must wash before you clean your Patio and driveway.
A demonstration on just how few tools are required to do a decent job cleaning a concrete drive way using Sodium Hypochlorite. No power washer or expensive tools required. However, you can always use a power washer to remove residual dirt.
My driveway has not been cleaned for a few year and it was getting a bit bad so I decided to get rid of the mould and other stuff using Sodium Hypochlorite. In this video I have demonstrated how effective is this product.
IT IS ALWAYS SATISFYING TO DO THINGS YOURSELF AND HAVE A GOOD END RESULT BUT EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE AND NEVER MIX WITH OTHER CHEMICALS - IF YOU ARE UN-SURE DON'T DO IT!

Hi, you only need to leave this on for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes it becomes completely inactive ( stops producing chloride gas that does the killing/cleaning ) great video mate and top results

Looking to give my roof a clean with this chemical. Much respect to your poor suffering back! I've got one of those sprayers, and it is absolutely pants. I'm not that tall, but was very happy to see the last dregs of weed killer as I kept on having to straighten up to relieve my ageing back. All in all, you've done a great job and saved a few pennies in the process.

Sodium Hydrochloride really eats into the dirt! I’m glad to see you left it for a a few days as it does take time! And with rain etc you will see even more improvements! If you still have black spots etc you can get it professionally cleaned with power washers etc!

just get a watering can mix it in that,pour it on then brush it in,but wet the surface before brushing it on

Good job there mate. Nice to see people having a go themselves. There are lots of different recipes for SH mixes on the net. Maybe try 70/30 next time. 70 water 30 SH especially if your going to leave it on. Save you a few quid on the a SH

Mate - i found an easier way to apply soap or chemicals, get a used 2 litre hose end sprayer container, the ones you buy from store used to weed and feed your lawn, fill it with the required chemicals, then just hose spray it over the concrete, easy no bending.

What no PPE. I mix in in a bucket and throw it on. Used it on Indian stone too. I work with the husband as a team. He uses a snow shovel to protect the law. The fumes are toxic.
