Yo can you make some actual videos about how to clean the main things like toilet, stovetop, carpet that sorta thing so we can find it when we need it? Love ya work dude keep em coming xoxo
I really enjoy your videos but I just want to mention why you shouldn’t use dawn dish soap for this. The fast explanation is that dawn is a type of surfactant (like many dish or laundry detergents) that requires a lot of rinsing- even when used in tiny amounts. Even with powerful home wet vacs it very difficult to get it all out on a molecular level. Using things like dawn will make this soap reactivate with very small amounts of humidity or moisture and make the seat act like a cleaning cloth that will “clean” things by collecting the dirt and trapping it in the seat. I’d use the same method, but with dedicated carpet shampoos (anionic) because even if residue is left behind it isn’t going to be pulling in dirt. Dawn is still great for hard surfaces though as you can fully rinse those. I could go into more depth but I know people get annoyed when there’s too much to read in a comment lol.
omg thanks for the tip!! i grew up in a household with little to no understanding of cleaning properly/ using the right product for the job. basically everything is a job for lysol lol. but i wanna make my things last in my own home and part of that is maintenance, so tips like this are invaluable to me!!
@@four1629 I’ll be honest, it’s taken me a long time to learn as much as I have but it’s been useful. I grew up in a house that was very clean, but in my opinion “over-cleaned” and sometimes used too harsh a chemical for the job. The simplest example being scrubbing the tub with a green scrubber and bleach when it really just needed a softer scrub with dish soap or another degreaser, and after that was washed a spray of bleach or something to kill bacteria that could cause mold. The scrubbing with bleach damaged the finish of the and made it more difficult to clean and get dirty quicker. It’s really hard to know what to do because there are so many cleaning channels that are well-intentioned but misinformed. And the thing is that most of them have really solid advice about most things. If you want to ask how to clean specific things just drop a reply and I’ll help you best I can. It helps if it’s kind of detailed though (like what type of material it is) so I can be accurate. The most important thing is to just do a quick google with your products to see if they’re safe for what you’re trying to use them for, and be VERY CAREFUL mixing chemicals or using them in close range or one after the other. Ammonia and bleach is extremely dangerous when mixed. But the fumes linger so if you sprayed the bathtub with bleach and let it soak and started spraying an ammonia-based glass cleaner on the mirror, that would be those two chemical’s fumes mixing, and it would be dangerous. Sorry this got long lol. But btw don’t be ashamed or worry about not learning this from growing up. We’re all constantly learning new things and evolving. And honestly most of this I learned as an adult despite growing up in a house that did teach a lot about cleaning. My products have changed more than my methods, but generally I’m only as aggressive as necessary to get it clean so I can avoid damaging things.
Thank you for this video! I was thrilled to come across it because I have the same seats and have struggled to clean them. Your method worked perfectly!
That’s exactly happened to my truck seat , I did clean with drill brush & extractor at least 3times , but after dry , came back on , and do it again and back again …. Thanks for advice
So how do I get rid of a light mildew smell? Does It’s have dried but then the wet spots came back up and it has a small smell, how can I get rid of asap
Did an interior for a customer and a couple days after they call bk n explained this same thing ...first time im experiencing this ...really hope this helps
Hey did it help? I am a car Detailer and I am really scared to do the extraction because this has happened to me a lot and I’ve been trying to find a way to try to avoid it from happening
@juancarrillo5677 hey bro, yessss yess it did help, trick is to try and not get the seat too moist, well wet. Use the solution in a spray bottle drill brush steamer helps alot when that's done let that seat get enough sun light n always check your work.
😮 Does using a spray fabric protector help to prevent future stains? Or at least not to the depth without?? Look how much more dirty it was! Amazing!! 💕💕💕💕
I need your services!!!!! I can’t seem to remove the smell of cat urine out of my passenger car seat. It’s so bad! I got it “professionally” cleaned but idk what happened.
I have this on hallway carpet. The carpets were professionally cleaned and now look wirseythan before. Ive bought a carpet cleaner myself now. So, should I treat first with this mixture, then clean the carpets?
I wish I had one of those. I spent like 2/3 days scrubbing my seats and flooring. Still have some spots to get rid of it's been a long process but that thing woulda probably got it done in a matter of mins.
I had a Subaru with these seats and they were sooo stained, I’d been looking for a video of someone actually getting them clean forever. now that I sold that car a week ago, this video pops up😅😅😅
