Due to the great feedback I received on my last lash cleaning video, I decided to make an updated one. This one shows the crucial step of rinsing off the cleanser, and how to make russian volume fans fluffier between your refills! As mentioned in the video I will link the cleansers more suited to lash extensions

Great video. Very clear and helpful. Not sanitary to touch brush to your hand or any surface and then transfer that bacteria on the brush to the client's eyes (even if your hands have been washed).

Hi Connie - thank you, glad you found it helpful. To be clear, the clips showing me touching the brush with my fingers or hands is B-Roll, it wasn’t shot on the same day as the rest of the video. I can assure you everything that was used on my client was sanitary. I wouldn’t, under any circumstances, cross contaminate products that I use on my clients. This video is aimed at lash extensions wearers not lash technicians

@Gabrielladitsan 4 года назад
Manraiza Mae Gallana just like you would without eyelash extensions, you should be wearing some sort of eye protection when on a motorbike. As for windy days, the wind can feel more noticeable when you have eyelash extensions, but they shouldn’t be so heavy that they are feeling uncomfortable

@Gabrielladitsan
@Gabrielladitsan 4 года назад
Stephanie Zahn eyelash extensions can be exposed to water about 10 minutes after application. The 24hr rule is dated as glues are much better now! Which is great for clients! It is saunas/swimming pools/steam that need to be avoided. I wouldn’t clean my lashes the day after application unless I wore eye makeup 😊

I know there's very little oil in micellar water, but would that cause problems? I have some rose water, do you think that would work? Xxx
@Gabrielladitsan
@Gabrielladitsan 5 лет назад
As mentioned in the video, there are much better suited cleansers for extensions! I have used this one in the video as it is very accessible for most people - I would not recommend rose water as it is not a cleanser! Micellar water contains both glycol and glycerin which are not the best for extensions which is why I have said to make sure it is washed off the lashes and is only used to cleanse them Using micellar water would be much more suited to clean lash extensions than rose water! Hope that helps :)

I hear different things about using Micellar water: some say use it other say no as it is "oil like" with the glycerin. Your thoughts? thanks
@Gabrielladitsan
@Gabrielladitsan 5 лет назад
Thank you for your comment! Myself or any of my clients have never had any issues using micellar water. The important thing is to always thoroughly wash it off after cleansing and make sure there is no residue. It is hard to find glycerin free cleansers in supermarkets or drug stores, so a lot of clients like that micellar water is cheap and easy to find. I have linked in the description of this video more lash suitable cleansers that are designed for extensions. The reason I used micellar water in this video is because I wanted to show how to rinse it off, as I know lots of lash extensions wearers use it - I hope this helped to answer your question :)

@Gabrielladitsan

This can be because you’re getting the soap in your eyes - try to use a gentle lash shampoo or something like the Dermalogica gentle eye cleanser It can also be residual fumes from the eyelash extensions procedure - if this is the case, continue washing the lashes and it will go away

Do I use this routine of micellar water in the morning and night? Or just one time a day. I do not put makeup but my eyelids become really oily throughout the day so i clean them in the morning and night. So i was wondering if cleaning them too much may cause the fallout more ? Thank you❤️
@Gabrielladitsan
@Gabrielladitsan 5 лет назад
I would do it in the morning only because I don’t wear makeup daily - if I wore makeup I would just do in the evening when taking off the rest of my makeup! Make sure you are rinsing ALL the cleanser off and not let it stay on the lashes, as it can cause them to fall quicker. Contact your lash tech if you experience premature shedding, 3-5 lashes per day is normal. If your skin type is oily, you may experience quicker shedding compared to someone with dry skin

My lashes fall easily when i wash them
@Gabrielladitsan
@Gabrielladitsan Год назад
Sounds like an issue with the lash application! You should be able to wash your lashes with little to no excessive fall out for up to 3 weeks, after three weeks you will notice more lashes falling when cleansing as you’re due for a refill. Check with your lash tech if your lashes are falling prematurely
@alexandra9985
@alexandra9985 Год назад
@@Gabrielladitsan im not happy with them at all, after 2 weeks already need refill. The first glue gave me super red eyes upon application. The second glue is more gentle but the lashes fall out more easily. I gave up..to expensive for me
@Gabrielladitsan
@Gabrielladitsan Год назад
@@alexandra9985 totally understandable! If you liked the look of the lashes, try and find another lash tech! I use the same glue on all clients and none of my clients suffer with red/irritated eyes after application, my clients usually get 3+ weeks with full lashes 😇 lashes are pricey, but the skill and products that go into it definitely have to be compensated 😊
