Way to go Joe and great video, Most guys including myself have swapped from the stock mule filter to the Kawasaki Teryx UNI Multi-Stage Competition Air Filter NU-2394ST . It is a direct replacement and does away with the adapter.

It's not a hard job, but I believe Kawasaki could improve on that design. The filter adapter is what their biggest trouble is. I know our dealer here pretty well, and it has been a problem. The filter wants to angel down a little when you try to install the cover. That let's the adapter have a slight gap at the top of the foam seal. Great video Joe 👍

The clear tube with the plug that you unclipped before removing the air box cover, I have seemed to lost mine. No idea what that part is or where it inserts and what section it drains. Any input is appreciated!
Good morning, Gus. This is a drain tube for the filter box and attaches just above the lower left clip of the filter box on an elbow attached to the housing. The clear rubber hose lets you know if you have potentially had water in the air intake. Rubber hose of the right diameter and plug for the end of the hose so it can't draw water in the air intake housing should be easy to find. I hope this helps and Thanks for Watching.
@@AskDaddyjoe hey Mr Joe, thx for the fast reply, I know what you said about the water and your video shows you draining some water out the tube, what do you think about maybe adding an extra intake tube onto the one that's there? My creek that runs across my property is a little higher than yours and it scares me. Mine is on order ( platinum bronze ) yours looks Awesome, My creek scares me because there are things I want to fix on the other side, but I don't want to suck no water down the intake like your video says, hence maybe adding a longer intake tube, what you think?
@@michaelsawyer8313 I think adding on some extra tube would be a good idea and there should be enough room . You can probably find something that is aftermarket that may help , these machines have been around since 1988 and there are a lot of aftermarket options for them .
