Here I show you how to clean your oven using easy off oven cleaner. I also used old rags, brillo pads and a bucket with warm soapy water.

The directions say you can use heat on the orignal Easy Off can? So im confused about you saying not to. Also, how do you clean the roof of the oven, with the broil burner in the way?

The directions for this one say to use on a cold oven. I’m not sure if or why it’s different from the other kind. I typically don’t clean the top or roof of the oven with this. I just use a Brillo pad and get what I can. However, you could remove the heating elements. They usually come out by removing a few screws. With the heating elements out of the way you could spray it down no problem!

If you notice, the bottom burner can be unscrewed by the two Philips head (usually) screws. Then that one just unplugs from the terminals inside the oven wall. For the broiler, same thing...just a couple of more screws and really awkward positioning to unscrew them.

What about the top ceiling of the oven?

What top? Haha! So I just use the Brillo pad for the top in most cases. It usually has a coil that’s really hard to clean around and isn’t typically that dirty. You can use the easy off but be careful not to get it on the coils.

@@Cherry-wz8uqeasy off should not touch the heating elements at all or go into the fan. I ended up using a self cleaning function on the oven and then used easy off for anything left over.

@@Cherry-wz8uq You "can" but be sure to thoroughly rinse them off or else you'll get extremely smokey results when you switch the oven on.

@@thomasdaghita I learned that products should not go on the heating element as it is poisonous when cooking. Also the heating element shouldn’t be wet or it will short circuit the oven.
