I wash my synthetic crochet hair all the time. After I rinse them I put them in a pillow case and I tie the end of the pillow case very good and I pout it in the clothes dryer and I get the same beautiful results

I'm a witness that the scent from an ACV rinse goes away but it's super great to know that regular vinegar will have the same effect. It's so much cheaper. I'll have to try that. Thanks cuz!
Yes yes! I started doing the acv rinses when I went natural 5 years ago because chemicals on the crochet hair that I had installed LITERALLY gave me 2nd degree burns. After seeing a dermatologist, that is what she told me to do. Never had another problem. I use it before and after (if I reuse the hair) an install.

This crochet hair that I have in smelled so bad. My husband said soak that damn hair it smells terrible. I washed it and it still smelled a little. Tfs
I understand. I have some Toyotress butterfly locks that smelled like fish....FISH! I did a vinegar rinse, and then I washed the hair in shampoo. I squeeze shampoo water all throughout the hair and let them set for an hour. I rinse them until the water runs clear and then I let them air dry. It helped tremendously.
I've tried this multiple times but my scalp still be iching bad. Had crochet in and had to take it out a week later and I was so mad x.x even human hair got me itching.
@@MaryKBella yes idk if its cause my scalp is always sweaty to begin with or if im just sensitive but it never works out! Either it itches to death or starts turning sour real quick
