For what I have read, only metal goes in the barbicide.

How often need reused the solution?

Hi! I only use the solution once and then throw it out. I do this routine everytime I do my nails 🤍

Hi, does this also work if a tool has been in contact with nail fungus?

Hmm not sure. I think it may work for the stainless steel tools but not for the files & brushes etc. It's probably best to have seperate tools just to be safe 😊

Was that 4 to 4 barber side to water and can you dump out Barba side into a sink drain? Is the black tub your cleaning with soap and water your sink or is that a special container?

Hi! It's 60ml barbicide to 1000ml water 😊 you can pour diliuted barbicide down the drain according to their site! The black tub is just our kitchen sink ☺️

Is there an alternative to barbacide? Also where did you get your sterilising box from? What do we search for? I need to sterilise nail tools for footcare, even tweezers and clippers etc

I have only used Barbicide but I have seen people use Dettol as well. My sterilizing box comes from a local store here in Belgium but you can just search for 'sterilizing box' on Amazon and you will find several options. However, if it is for sterilizing in a professional setting I would look for professional sterilizers from nail supply stores, because I don't think a box like I used here would be strong enough.

@@femdoesnails thank you for the reply, would dettol be used neat or diluted? I'm worried it might cause rust. It's for personal use so i wouldn't need professional box, but ideally I'd still like to sterilise at home like a professional to ensure the tools are fully sanitary

@@TheSmiley84 probably diluted like barbicide 😊 I haven't used it myself so can't speak on whether or not it causes rust... For the sterilizing box, it will probably be suffucient for at home use 😊 just make sure to first clean, then desinfect and then sterilize! 😊 I've seen people sterilizing with a regular oven as well (using special pouches) but I haven't tried that method yet
