I've been watching a lot of video about the hybrid batteries and a lot of guys say that the main reason the hybrid battery fails is because of the fans not working or just too slow from all the dust.

How often should I be cleaning the fan? I took a look at my filter today and it looked pretty clean. I have 17000 km on my hybrid. How often do you recommend cleaning the battery filter and the fan, friend? Thanks.

please advice. do this colling fan always in start mode. or it starts when car runs more and hybrid battery get warm. i think it not always suck .

Do you need to disconnect the 12v batterry negative terminal before doing this?

I did this very job on my 09 Prius a couple weeks ago. Previous owner had dogs, and that fan was FULL of hair and dust. This generation Prius didn't come with a filter, but I installed an aftermarket filter.

Hi I am working on interesting project on Nissan Leaf Aze0 (2011) I have added 22kw batteries from Bmw i3 (2015) in the trunk so I hired profesional labour to install it and everything works fine results are from 50km range (4 bars) to roughly 200km and 12 bars. only thing that worries me is cooling system of new battery pack because it has none and my mechanic says its ok like that because battery is inside the saloon but original battery pack had radiator controled cooling/heating system so i decided to add cooler turbine from toyota prius i am woundering souldni use one ore two turbines and how do i controll cooler RPMs ?? any suggestions??
