Oh my God this came right at the time I have to do that dirty job and I haven’t done it for a long time, mainly because I didn’t know how I was going to get in there to dislodge and scrub inside…. A broom😻 Who knew awesome
I’ve been waiting for a video like this!!! Thank you! I had visions of turning the can on it’s side and crawling in there with a scrub brush. It’s was not a motivating image.😂
Dawn dish soap, hot water, disinfectant fabulouso, and a ryobi pressure sprayer. You have to let it rest and degrease then rinse of with a pressure nozzle.
I clean the inside of my garbage can like once a month. Aha. I wipe the outside of my trash can all the time because I don’t like seeing my trash can looking all trashy and nasty aha
When I used to live in a house, I would clean the trash and recycling bins. The industrial funk got industrial cleaners. I especially like cleaning when it was hot outside only because the bins would dry quickly, making the job easier
I need you at my house so bad. I try so hard but can't do what needs to be done. I've had seven spinal surgeries and need more. I always think im going to kick butt clean, then get sidelined pretty quick. I won't let anyone come over, not even my son.... I'm so ashamed and mad.
There's a few youtube channels who help in this sort of situation. Maybe you could find one local to you and reach out. Or ask your son to come over and help one day/ pay for cleaners to come in for a few hours
You have mentioned blue Dawn dish soap a few times (I know you only say dish soap in this video) and I have seen it mentioned elsewhere specifically. As someone not from the US, is there something special about blue Dawn dish soap? Is there a specific ingredient? We don't have that brand here so I am not sure if I can just substitute any dish soap in its place.
I came to find out if there is an easy way to dump the water after cleaning without having to lift the can up. I am too weak to do that. Anything big enough to rest under the can to keep at a drain angle it is too heavy for me. Any ideas?
hire us! i don’t even use a scrubber i just stick my head in the bin 😂 but if you just want someone to come tip your bin full of water over, i’ll do that for free. but it’s better to dispose of it properly 😊
If it was me I'd get one of those car foam sprayers hose it down then dump like half that bottle in the can and let it sit for like an hour or two. If even that Lol. You lasted longer than I would have.
I just tried to clean mine I sprayed it with awesome sprayed it w hose let sit it was a little better but with it 100 degree heat I said who cares it least I got the dead body smell out -- jk dead chicken smell and rotten potatoes nasty Tip drill a few holes in the bottom so it will drain
Yes lol. Well not a gallon, but yeah either bleach or Mr. Clean fill with water, let sit. Rinse out and put in the sun to dry. It's not that complicated amirite? 😊
