I highly recommend this store. I just ordered a ricohflex tlr from him which is perfect. (Marcel, an old retiree from Switzerland, photographer, collector and lover of old analog cameras.)
Thanks for the nice videos. Love watching your channel as your videos are well made and you really know what your talking about. I have an Olympus 35 RD and haven’t had the lubricant migrating to the shutter blades yet but I have recently noticed that when I wind the film lever, the lever doesn’t spring back by itself. I have to push it back myself. Any insight as to why that’s happening and how to resolve it? Thanks again!
Amazing video with great detail and walkthrough. I am going to be doing this soon to an RD, hopefully should be similar. Thank you! Earned a new subscriber
Maybe it's me but the ebay link seems to be the link for the owner to login and not a store. Kind of a static page to nowhere, is that what it should be? At least I can't get it to work at all. The online store and esty store links seem to work fine. Bess wishes! I have to apparently click on the odd name to get to the items, not intuitive to me, I would have thought clicking on the logo would do it.
A master at work. Well experienced and vast list. EXCEPT - OLYMPUS 35RD!! A pleasure to see you work when I relax after a hards days work in the office
Any idea why the light meter numbers in this camera would be blurry when I look through the lens myself but appear clear when I look through the viewfinder with my phone? Is my eyesight the problem or does something need to be cleaned/adjusted?
hi mate - i just recently got one cheap which is is really clean condition with the lens and viewfinder bud for some reason the shutter press, advance level and self timer are stuck and self timer is stuck down - fresh battery in the clean battery terminals seem to not make a difference. any help?
Hi from Sendai! A friend has just given me a minty 'ED' edition that has a 38mm 1:1.7 lens. (There is no manual control in the ED.) Despite its apparent "low milage", it has the same issues as your 'RD'. Accordingly, this video will help me a lot, although there are some apparently minor differences. As is usual with your work, this is an excellent presentation. Thank you!
