@@gingerfredg I used Dawn dish detergent and Scrub Daddy and it just cut through that greasy mess on the top of the kitchen cabinets near the stove like waving a wand! I used a microfibre cloth and water to rinse/ wipe after and viola! Easiest deep clean ever!
@@elizabethmara737 Wow! Interesting to know. I’ve never had a problem with it. Took off the yuck and film and then I use an oil to polish/seal. I haven’t done it for a while.
You know what melts that crap off, no scrubbing? Swiffer Wet cloths. Yep. Wipe them down, come back and wipe it off. It emulsifies that old gummy kitchen grease.
We have crusty melamine doors in our rental, and part of my routine is to wipe them down on a regular basis - also, dawn power wash did a major positive on some grease
Hi! I hate cleaning. And i have adhd. But. I'm thinking a scrub daddy would change my life. Also, would that dawn in warm water work on hardwood old floors?
If you do this at least once a month you don’t need anything stronger. But a daily wipe down may be good if you cook everyday. I’m only home a couple of days a week so I don’t need to. Also helps if there’s a enuf Dawn in the washing water. Q-tips for crevices if needed. But I think I’d try BKF (recommend from another poster) cautiously. It may be little too abrasive for some finishes. If you have it in your arsenal do a test spot before going all out with it. FWIW. Do the same on the cabinet sides beneath the range hood. Those get really grimy too. I clean those when I clean the space in back and above stove. Wipe down range hood bottom as well. You’d be surprised how much is under there. Pop out vent screens and wash those well too. A good soak in hot tap water and Dawn while cleaning everything else is good. Sorry I hijacked…
