How to clean xtool S1 Laser

In this video I show the basics to cleaning the xtool S1 laser head, there are several steps. Many of which are sped up, so you don't have to wait forever. One thing you should know is that you may want some alcohol available to clean the actual laser head. taking this apart and doing a wipe down with a damp cloth works just fine. be sure to dry it fast and not leave any water. Cleaning the laser head should be routine maintenance so make sure you clean regularly.

I like how you provide valuable info, take the time to film and edit it and then get comments about music volume preferences from people who don't post/edit/upload videos unless it was a short one of their cat filmed on a potato 12 years ago.

Yeah hi I’ve got a question, I’ve got the S1 20w and I was cleaning the lens with alcohol and a cotton swab, unscrewing the copper lens there’s another lens underneath that which l noticed was loose my question is,is that lens supposed to be tightened or set at level height ….any idea would be appreciated.

@@everygooddaydesigns Man! That Xtool video suggests cleaning every 30 minutes with the 40w! how would you get any work done!? You've had no issues only doing it every 3-4 weeks? Only had mine a week and now feel like i'm behind on cleaning. - Great Video thanks for helping!

I dont actually know if there is a set time frame for cleaning that xtool recommends However, I do a lot of wood cutting and it produces alot more debris and smoke so I clean about every 3 or 4 weeks. If I was just engraving I would probably do it about every 2 months. The best indicator for me is the top of the laser where the fans are. If it looks like a lot of build up is there I give it a good clean.
