If you don't have the red wheel, just cut a piece of small PVC pipe. Put that over your rear axle inside the frame, with the chain over. It's what I do to sponge the chain and protect the axle.
I don't see the need or the advantage of fully cleaning the bike after each ride. The only need I can guess is for the sponsor's brand to be sparkling and shiny for all to see.

After such a wash, the bike needs to be completely sorted out and re-lubricated, it's just terrible, so much chemistry and so much water on one bike is just some kind of horror, and the bike was only a little dusty, just wipe it well!
That's definitely a quick and efficient way to wash a bike for a pro mechanic but I will never do this on my bikes because I've learned that spraying water and soap everywhere tends to ruin your bike in the long run.
@@chance4771 Spraying waters everywhere pushes sand and grit inside tight spots like bearings area (BB, headset, wheels, pulleys) and it makes the bike creak at some point. I use a wet rag to wash most of the dirt and remove the wheels and chain to wash the drivetrain thoroughly. If you have doubts, I have very expensive bikes including 2 Venge and race MTB and they have always been working flawlessly because I take my time when I wash them.
I don't wash my bikes. If they get bad and ugly I will wipe them down with a super soft shop rag and Mequirer's Ceramic Wax and I use Boeshields T-9 lube on the chain. Only a 5 minute job. Spraying water into the bearings is only good for sponsored bikes and not a bike you plan on keeping around for a while.
if u want I give u my bike for cleaning , bcoz I go 1 time in wash car 2€ my bike is very clean next juste use grass for my chain and one product for protect my bike 🤣
