What are Clear Aligners?
Plastic trays that orthodontists use to move teeth. Invisalign aligners is one kind of these plastic aligners.
Should I use toothpaste to clean invisalign aligners or other type of clear aligners?
Yes but avoid very abrasive toothpastes.
Should I use retainer brite solution, Invisalign cleaning system, a mouthwash solution or Steraligner?
All of these products including a denture cleaner solution or invisalign cleaning crystals work. Based on the type of the plastic that your orthodontic treatment is using one might work better than the other. At the end of the day, you are most likely wearing these aligners for 7 days. At PORTH, we prefer Steraligner products.
Can I use hydrogen peroxide or baking soda to clean my invisalign aligners?
Yes. Avoid using hotwater with baking soda.
Does antibacterial soap work?
Yes you can use that.
What is the best toothbrush to use?
Any toothbrush works. Avoid expensive tooth brushes.
