How To Clean Your Board ⌨️
First things first, we always want to remove any dust and debris from ontop of AND inside the keyboard keys. This can be tricky for stuff stuck behind or under the keys, so let's go over a few ways to get it easily!
1. 2. Air compressor tube 💨: An air compressor helps to push air out in a compact tube, if you do not have a vacuum with this sort of feature! (Air compressor link: amzn.to/4bWe9am )
3. Dust Cleaning Gel/Goo: This sticky gel reminds me of playdough or some kind of slime we used to play with as a kid 🤣, but it works amazing! It is sticky enough to pick up dust and debris from around, under, and on top of the keyboard… but not so sticky that it leaves residue behind! Now that we have removed all the debris and dust, let's move on to actually cleaning and disinfecting our keyboard! ✨ Here are a few tips and options to do so:
1. Disifecting Spray or Electronic Spray: Grab a microfiber rag and spray some electronic safe cleaner or a mild multi-purpose cleaner (if your keyboard is free of screens/added features) onto the rag. ❌When doing this, remember to NEVER spray directly onto the keys, as this can cause liquid to become trapped behind the keys and will damage the keyboard or laptop. ❌
2. Foam Swab Cleaning Sticks: These tiny q-tip like sticks are perfect for cleaning in tight area between keys or anywhere on the computer. They are form based so they absorb gunk from food spills or even excess liquid from the previous step. 3.
