Thank you so much for this post. I just bought this van and the screens were really bugging me. I tried to move the tabs but they didn't move easily so I didn't want to break it. After seeing this I was reassured they are meant to move so applied much more pressure and got the screen off. Yeah. Thanks, I feel so much better. 😊

What size allen wrench is needed? Im in the UK and have metric allen wrenches. 2mm is too small and 2,5mm is too big.

@@TheCampoholics our maxxi fan spins both ways. So it can blow air in or blow it out. We set it to out when we want to remove smells and generally have it blowing in to cool down. Just seeing what you do?

@@teamflames9508 Ohhhh! Ours is not that model, it’s just and exhaust fan. We have heard that they now have those that can be used as both! Nice feature!!

Did you think of a possibility to install a filter to the fan, in “intake” mode? I am about to install a maxxair fan and want to find/install/build a filter itself.

That fan draws a lot of air. Lots of air movement. I think a filter would clog up quick.

The rain sensor had a little blueish gunk on it. Do you have a recommendation on how to clean the rain sensor?

You could try rubbing alcohol. I would guess.
