The idle was a bit rough on this Ford Explorer 2008 so I decided to check the throttle body and clean it after finding allot of carbon build up. I hope this do it yourself tutorial helps you clean your throttle body and gives you some tips and tricks to help.

My car currently replaced the spark plug and clean the injector, coil are working normal... After that its getting jerk while idle and running time.. but no misfire alarm.. pls any advice?

Will opening the throttle body with your finger damage the throttle body at all?

My explorer is accelerating on its own. You think this might be my issue?

Do you mean its reving high at idle or its accelerating when not on gas. Its worth cleaning the throttle body for sure and have some one check its actuation while you're press the gas, make sure its not binding up. If its not the air then its fuel problem but that will usually set off codes as well. Simple answer, yes check this, two heck the spark plug if problem persists it will tell you allot about whats going on in the cylinder

if we moved the throttle tongue while cleaning , I think the throttle must be reprogrammed

Not at all, it is an electronic throttle body, so it goes to preset amounts by you opening the butterfly plate and cleaning everything. The only thing that will have to happen is the ECU will have to adapt slowly to be able to open up as wide as it used to be able to because it will slowly adapt as carbon builds up.
