Nobody can tell how old (15 yrs) my washer/dryer are because I keep them so clean inside and out! You want them to last a long time since they are expensive to replace! Leave the washer open after using so it air dries thoroughly, including the soap dispenser! And don't forget to dry the rubber around the doors. Clean dryer screen after each use and inside the slot where it fits.

Perfect timing - I am moving into a new apartment and I want to clean all the appliances left by the previous tenant before I use them. I would love an oven cleaning video.

We have an old Toploader, so this doesn’t really correspond to what I have. So I don’t know how to clean it.

I do the same. The rubber seal is cleaned with bleach diluted in water and rinse with clear water. I didn't include citric acid to my cleaning products yet. Bleach is very handy for me as desinfection. Thank you Natalia for the tips.

Firstly, I wanted to say how much I enjoy your channel! My family and I just moved into a new apartment about 2 months ago, I wish you the best of luck with your new move! I have a question, the rubber seal of my washing machine unfortunately has parts of it that already have some mold... Anything you can suggest to get it back to looking new? I live in an environment where it's quite humid and sometimes forget to clean and dry out the machine after use. Thank you again for you're wonderful advice and tips and tricks!

Hello Rachel, to my luck I don't have much experience with mold, but what I did on my window frame in bath is that I used a special anti-mold liquid. As for a washing machine, it might be aggressive and destroy the sealing. Read the instructions on the bottle to get more clarity
