This works really well with Walmart wax melts! I know that there are many other types of wax that are alot softer, so let me know if the second method works with it! Tiktok: catakakat
Omgeeez!! Thanks so much for showing me how to clean my wax warmers!! Yaaaaaaay! I'm going to buy more now that I know how to clean them! You rock! 💙🙌💙
You're absolutely correct! Mine looked like this, only worse. I poured 90% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol in it, let it set for a while (i forgot about it so...maybe 30 minutes?), came back and rubbed it with a cotton swab/q-tip and the residue came off. I poured out the alcohol and wiped with a paper towel. Voilà!
I used the Goo Gone Grill and oven cleaner on my white ones….. it comes out in a foam, and I came back 20 minutes later at all I had to do was rinse it out with water. It took every bit of gunk out of the warmers.. I scrubbed and scraped those things with everything. I knew that Goo Gone absolutely worked. It gets all the residue off from the burnt wax.
Thank you for the video! Today I put some Downy Unstoppable scent beads into my wax melt warmer (since I don't own any wax melts) and wanted to know how to clean it out!
@@SelfCareCatherine I burned them with a light bulb wax melt wall plug in and the bulb went out. The replacement bulb did not heat up enough to melt the beads. I still have to try it with a candle wax melt burner
