I've used Ronsonol lighter fluid since the late 1990's when yoyos started using bearings. I haven't found anything that works better. Mineral Spirits is also fantastic, but I keep coming back to Ronsonol, even for NSK bearings.

Isopropyl alcohol contains quite a bit of water. Do not let is sit and have a blow drier handy.

Alternative for lighter fluid if you don't have is kerosene, it works like that.

Lucas I have a question what if you don't have lighter fluid to clean up your bearings but your Shield is already off because that is the same thing as mine I don't have lighter fluid but the shield is are at all so I'm not sure what to do please make a video of that

Hey Hand sanitizer or spirit also work Leave for 10 min then burn your bearing I mean heat it and after it will be like new I had tried many time I know I am late for giving you advise But ......
