I’m so glad I found this! I just ordered my first 3 crystals from a small online shop and was really confused how to cleanse them! Thanks for making this video :)
On crystals that can't handle salt or water, I use sound. I use my singing bowl or chimes or I even use a pewter bell. I love the bell. It also breaks up stagnant energy in my home as well.
I just found this video. I also received a package of my first crystals this morning. Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Black Tourmaline and Citrine, so I was looking for instructions on what to do next. I found this wonderful lady and I don't know why I took an instant liking to her.😍😍 She's amazing. I feel like I'm talking to a family member.
Yes! Check out my video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oth3e2ETfM8.html on how to charge and program your crystals. let me know how that works for you! Susan
I just brought a rose quartz wire wrapped necklace. (Wire isn't sterling silver) I need to cleanse it before I wear it. So it was safe to keep it in water for 24 hours. Or like the person at the shop stated, she cleanse her crystals by running tap water over them and visualize them being clean and fresh.
I would not soak jewelry with metal in water... you can use vibrations to clear stale energy. watch this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html
hi susan :) i just got my first three crystals for my birthday on january 6 (tumbled amethyst, raw rose quartz, and raw citrine) and i was wondering if the rose quartz and citrine are safe to cleanse in salt water. if they are, are there any specific precautions i should take, like not soaking them for too long? the video was super helpful, thank you!
Wonderful! Happy Birthday... You should be fine with those crystals in salt water. 30 minutes usually is all you need to soak a crystal for to clear it... susan
Hello! I loved your video and I had a question. Can i use ocean salt water? I’ve been using it to cleans some of my crystals and i was wondering if it was affective.
Yes you can! Oh yes yes yes! It's most effective. Especially if you're IN the ocean. Just be careful to bag your crystals so they don't escape to the sea! haha
I have a black granite mortar and pestle. I have 3 spheres, clear quartz, dream amethyst, and rose quartz. The black granite mortar is perfect, when filled to the top its just enough to completely submerge the spheres one at a time. This is my first soaking since I got them. I'm a beginner working with crystals. I also make candles and the pestle is great for packing down soy wax flakes or beads. I'm enjoying learning candle craft. Great way to spend time during the lockdowns. Now that I have all the crystals I want for now, I'm going to enjoy working with the crystals, but I have much to learn. I also drink crystal charged water. I have my points in a thermos 3 in all. I pack the thermos with ice withe the crystals. What if any dangers should I be aware of? I'm just going with it and see where this quest leads!
Hi! thanks for sharing your stories... Regarding drinking crystal charged waters... be aware that some crystals are toxic and should NOT be in contact with your drinking water. We carry waterbottles that separate the 2 and thats fine, but do some research before proceeding. regarding packing the crystals with ice... you risk cracking the crystal if they go through rapid temperature changes... so i would be careful with that also...
Imp point -Selenite crystal not put in salt water for cleaning. 🙏 Other crystal can be cleaned with salt water for 30minutes. 🙏🙏 Mam I have a quest all crystals shape are equally useful in healing than other forms like cluster ,raw geodge n chips 🤔🤔 Which form has more energy or all have equal healing energy 🙏🙏
You should avoid using salt water on jewelry as it can damage your piece. Use other ways. I talk about them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html
Hi... save your expense pink salt for eating or bathing! In this application what we are looking for from the salt is it's green prana... and in that regard salt is salt. The extra minerals won't make it more effective for clearing energy. But some crystals cannot tolerate salt or water so check that before soaking
Why shouldnt you eat out of the bowl if you wash it out really really well? Should you use it for anything else? I borrowed my moms carnival bowl my aunt uses to make her handmade quilts for her loved ones with! Can i do an empty salt water session to clean the bowl with nothing in it? Do i need to? Oh help i done an oops already...
I wouldn't eat out of it because 'energy' isn't something that washes out with water. it needs to be cleared 'energetically'... it's not a big deal to use it for other things, although i keep my bowls separate.
I put a lil too much of salt and i saw another video which mentioned that you can leave it for overnight so is it okay???? Btw they were black tourmaline and rose quartz
Don't panic! If you don't want to dedicate your bowl to crystals then put some salt in it overnight, have the intention that the salt absorbs anything that isn't for your highest good. Dispose of the salt and put the bowl in the dishwasher and it will be fine.
so is table salt usually just what u use to salt ur food that u might find in a little shaker? that’s kinda the only salt I have and don’t want to harm the crystals if that’s bad! also, will anything TOO harmful happen if u use the bowl to eat after cleansing?
So sorry if this is a dumb question but when you say not to use the bowl again do you mean not until you’ve thoroughly cleaned it or don’t use it again period bc of the negative energy?
not a dumb question, and i recommend you don't use it again for food... like you wouldn't drink out of the toilet even if it is cleaned and fresh water! Same concept
That's hard to answer...it's like 'how often do I need to dust my furniture'? it depends. Generally, no, you don't have to cleanse everyday... unless you are doing some really serious work in the lower realms...
It depends on the crystals. Check before putting them in any waters... I have another video that cleanses without water here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html
If they are 5 or less on the Mohs scale, do not submerge them under water. Follow your intuition. Some crystals that should not be submerged in water are: Selenite, Malachite, Lapis Lazuli, Fluorite, Calcite, Desert Rose, Labradorite, or Halite, Amber, Turquoise, Imperial Topaz, Red Coral, Fire Opal, Moonstone, Opal, all Calcites including Blue Calcite, Green Calcite, Orange Calcite, Angelite, Azurite, Kyanite and Kunzite or any raw or rough stone.
don't soak anything that has metal as the salt will damage it. You can use the other methods as described here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html
Hi Alicia... it's a pretty hard stone, but don't soak too long... don't think i would use salt. It's pretty porous... You could use frequencies or run it under tap water if you like. Here's the link to explain how to do that... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html Susan
why should you not used the bowl for food that you've cleaned your crystals in? Does the same apply if you've cleaned the bowl? I used a glass mixing bowl to cleanse my crystals, and then put the bowl in the dishwasher and use it for mixing ingredients/food. Is this ok?
I make it a practice not to use the bowl I dispose of negative or stale energy in for anything but that. DON'T FREAK OUT! Not necessarily going to be a problem for you... just best practices. ~Susan
I wouldn't soak in salt water, as it could damage the metal... Here's a video on how to clear without salt water. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html
The most basic way i know is 1) it's working 2) it 'feels' good as in not heavy or thick energy around it. it's not 'heavy' if i'm wearing it as a piece of jewelry. 3) its not making me anxious or agitated when i'm handling it.
I have a video on this here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbUydmeTPWE.html also here's a partial List of crystals that don't tolerate salt baths: Calcite Will dissolve Carnelian Salt water can cause fractures Celestite Can break apart Galena Will rust Halite Will dissolve Hematite Can rust Labradorite Will dissolve Lepidolite Will flake apart Lodestone Will rust Malachite Can break in hot water and it's toxic Mica Will flake apart Moldavite Can break in hot water Muscovite Will flake apart Obsidian All forms can break from extreme liquid temperatures Opals Can break or crack in extreme liquid temperatures Pearls Will lose luster and can break Pyrite Combined with water produces sulfuric acid Selenite Can dissolve Turquoise Will fade Ulexite Will dissolve Dyed Agates and other dyed stones Will fade Crystals that have already been wire wrapped should not be soaked in salt water.
