@Giovanny Ortiz, Thanks for this video and providing a place for people to reference. Without stealing your thunder, I'd like to add that there is another way to resolve this issue but it involves a Banks Datamonster. I had this issue but after NOT reading the instructions from S&B but lucky for me, a Banks DataMonster allowed me to clear this code and then follow the directions as set out by S&B.
What happened with mine was I took out the air cleaner filter that came with the truck up when I bought it and it was a super thick air filter cleaner with like an extra layer attached to the fins of the filter, I replaced it with a k&n filter and then the light came on saying check system air filter life. So here's what I think happened I think that k&n air filter is to breathable and allows too much air in. My truck acts like there's no filter installed. I have a 21 GMC Sierra Denali.
My truck just said service air filter. I went on to inspect it and it was fine. It only has 15,000 miles. After I reinstalled it the light came on. I don’t want to disable it. I just want to reset it. Can it be done by disconnecting the battery?
What devices or programmers would you suggest that is able to disable that? I’m having the same issue with my 19 sierra and the dealership says they can’t disable the air filter system.
