I'm a CFA Level 3 candidate. Have cleared Level 1 and Level 2. Don't be lured by thumbnail. Cfa requires hell lot of hard works... mean it "hell lot of hardword" and dedication and consistency to clear it. Its quite expensive course, don't just rush seeing these videos. Throughly research and then only pursue it.
@@arunsubramanian2779 haha omg I’m so glad!!! I think that’s your cue to go ace those exams! All the best and do reach out to me on LinkedIn if I can help in any way!
I have a few friends who are extremely smart, took a 6 month prep time for cfa level 1 did not clear by a just a little, they again studied and gave another shot and still didn’t manage to clear. What I want to share with this comment is everyone is different. Take time and learn it well. Once learn level 1 well it will help you in level 2.
Newly subscribed. Preparing for the level 1 exam and I'm glad i found this channel. Specially for the fact that you're currently in your journey as well and preparing for level 2. Insightful and clear explanation. The study style approach on finding ways to gain confidence.
Hey there, My exam is in 20 days, and i am very nervous, although i have conceptual clarity for most of the things, but it feels like i keep forgetting formulae, or something which is theoretical, especially when it comes to derivatives, it feels like i know everything, when i read schweser, but when i practice LES, the questions gets confusing, & i mark the answer which i think is correct, the way i understood the question, and those silly mistakes of least likely/ most likely questions.
i have started my cfa level 1 preparation and i am purchased ashwni bajaj i am palning to do give exam in may 2025 bcoz i have less knowledge in field of finance and i am currently pursuing bms in finance
Go for Quintedge Tutorial I cleared CFA level 1 and scored more than 90 percentile. I have taken Quintedge classes. He explains each and every word in detail starting from basic to advanced level.
@@samapdaredij What's the price can u share your experience about it, iam thinking to buy , recorded lectures but confused between aswani Bajaj, sanjay saraf, miles.
Hey i am planning to give august 2025 attempt and i am starting my preparation now please suggest which classes i should take as i have zero knowledge in finance
Suggestion: 1) Make your hair first then make a video, as after every minute, your hand is going to fix your hair back to your ears, it's distracting from the topic. 2) Talk briefly covering only important points. I hope it would mean to you.
I have my cfa lvl 1 attempt in this month, as im an engineering student it's a bit difficult for me studying and understanding these financial concepts ( specially numerical-based subs). I study from lectures of Mark Meldrum. In just 10 days I have my exam I'm getting nervous as not all my concepts are clear but im gonna try to ace this exam. Wish me luck🤞
There is no way you started from scratch and completed in a month unless you were not doing any job or something. People doing any kind of work please do not take such risks unless you are some extraordinary human.
It depends on your educational background and grasp over the basic financial concepts. People have done 1-2-3 months of studies and they have passed so it is entirely subjective. If you have some work experience, two months is more than enough. If not, you would require an extra month or maybe two. It depends on how much time you can put in moving forward, and how quickly you retain information, personally study for approximately 800+ hours for level one and among the 90 percentile.
I am pursuing Company Secretary Course would you suggest me to go for CFA? I mean is CFA is really high demanded course or can be easily go to USA after completing CFA? Please guide mam I am your new subscriber!
I have just started my prep for cfa level 1 and purchased Ashwini Bajaj coaching. I'm planning to give my exam in feb 2025 as I have no experience in finance with full time college. do you think 6 months are enough???
Plz can you share your experience of aswani Bajaj cfa lectures iam also thinking to buy it but confused between aswani Bajaj, sanjay saraf, miles, quint edge.
@@rakshakachwahha6641 u only get recorded lectures what about if any changes comes from cfa regarding syllabus or concepts will aswani Bajaj will provide updated lectures and resources and what about doubt solving, if u get doubts about some concepts? Plz can u share the details bro..
Could you please let me know how to register for CFA level 1 and crack it without coaching? How much does it cost and how to get free effective practice material etc?
Thank you so much for this video. I gave a lot of time for making notes with only 10 days for mocks and revision and I was feeling anxious and thinking of deferring my attempt but u gave me a lot of confidence through this video. Thank you!!
If u know and are confident on 80% of the syllabus and 50% confident on the rest of the concepts as they are a bit tricky to solve then is is best to prioritise more on the 80% or shift a little bit to the other side when i got less than 45 days for the L1 exam??
I ha e just started preparing for feb l1 2025 exam from 1st. Oct but i am not sure if i will be able to complete the syllabus once also plzzz help meee
Could you please tell me your time split in this one month? You wrote notes on every page for every book. I consistently make notes on the side to enhance my understanding. Been studying since June 1st and I've only done 4 subjects (Quants, Economics, Fixed Income, Derivatives). Giving in November. You not only made notes, but also revised them and solved questions on the LES platform. So how exactly did you spend your time with these 3 different steps?

You can check eligibility criteria on Google, students from all streams are eligible and you can pursue cfa in the last year of your degree or after graduation
Hi, thank you so much for uploading this! really appreciate all the insights you've shared. I was wondering if you have any handwritten notes that helped you crack level 1 that you might be willing to sell or share?

Thanks for this video Ananya. I work in tech right now and wish to pursue the CFA exam, alteast till the level 1 before I get an MBA. Do you think it's advisable to switch from tech to finance and how long should it take to do it ?
Hi Ananya, I have cleared my CA Intermediate exams and I have started my Articleship with BIG 6. I am actually planning to start CFA as i have 2.5 years left to appear for my CA Final Exams. Please guide me on this.
@@aryanvijay740 hi Aryan, studying of longer hours then would definitely be helpful (try 3-4 hours a day) Adding more rounds of revision can also be helpful for this because that way, you are covering the portion more number of times. With CFA, the main way to retain the info and pattern is to practice more and more questions, so try to finish your portion in 3 months And then in the remaining 3 months, you can aim to do 3 rounds of revision and lot of question practice Reach out to me on LinkedIn if you need more help with this!

@@yashagrahari i personally have not used/ bought the Scheswer lecture series so can’t speak much about it Yes, there are syllabus changes in CFA, there has been quite a few changes between 2023 and 2024 I’m not sure if it’s an annual update, so it’s always better to use the books of the relevant year for your prep
hi ananya ive sent you request on LinkedIn, my exam is on 19th nov and im really worried about how to complete course. i am left with few major subjects. it would be a great help if you could give me strategy or a way out of this !!
A average math student can do cfa . I am confused please reply me about syllabus and concepts.i am bcom students I cleared my graduation by studying one day before semester so I am an average student. Now I am interested in cFA can I do and I am willing to put a lot of effort. What your thoughts…
@@nareshkd4383 you can definitely do cfa! I myself have not studied maths as a subject after 10th standard and personally have a small fear of it as well. The math in cfa is more about statistics and probability, here and there you might find terms like logs etc but it’s not impossible to do With the right efforts and plan, you can definitely look at clearing cfa!
hi, you can only give your cfa level 1 exam in second year of college, which is almost 3 years away, as of now, i don't think you should be worrying about your cfa journey!
Can i get last month preparation for l1? Having exams on 23 aug i tried getting connected to u on linkedin but i failed much needed advise plz help me out
Heyy I just passed out my twelfth in 2024 in commerce stream and going to start my graduation in bba program.. hey! have a few questions : 1)how similar are the actual paper questions to that of the candidate portal? 2)does the percerntile rank given on candidate forum holds any significance ? 3)how much time does one need for revision ?
@@ashmitphophalia9345 hi! 1) candidate portal has the most representative questions in terms of similarity to structure and difficulty in the real exam 2) although it’s seen as a sign of concept clarity and good effort, no employer really differentiates between someone who’s passed with or without 90%ile, they just look for a CFA. 3) a good revision for an average candidate should not be more than 1 month. you can spend more time on revision by doing multiple revisions, but one revision set should not cross 30 days
Tell them that you are a b com passout and have some finance certificate as well....given this background even 1 month is more than enough for L1 and L2 ...its no big feat..
@@AnanyaUpadhyayula good then ..I didn't watch the video so...sorry for that .. Seen umpteen videos of people saying 1 month is enough for cfa L1 without mentioning their background when most of them are CA or CMA or b com ..it's really misguiding ... For us engineers it takes proper 6 months for L1 ...people who haven't seen a balance sheet before ... Good work keep it up
@@avishek6359 I’ve definitely seen a few companies looking for CFA level 1 students during recruitment but it can be very competitive. Most times, it works out best only for college placements. So usually I suggest not to associate doing your CFA level 1 with an immediate sense of job security. CFA will definitely help add value, but it will take time and you will have to focus on clearing all 3 levels
@@chinthasureshkumar9366 hi! I used the Scheswer books mostly for CFA Level 1, did not necessarily make use of any coaching apart from that. A lot of my friends used Mark Meldrum and had great things to say about it! If you’re feeling confident with prep and scoring upwards of 65% on CFA LES portal, you don’t have to worry. Look for prep providers if you think it won’t be enough though. There’s few free videos available on RU-vid available as well for review, which help a great deal!
