The company that I work for requires this daily. I was confused because we use Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer. We use Windows software. Will this help to clear all or must it be done for Internet Explorer as well?
Thank you for this...your guide was most clearest and perfect I came across, so I knew I had to subscribe so I can surf for all other videos I need. Have you done any video on troubleshooting why laptops freezes or slow down... Thank you !
Very helpful and clear directions for those un savy computer peeps. Can you do something on how to get rid of Multiple Grid View extensions detected. Please remove duplicates?
Hey Kevin - Great video. But I just bought a new laptop and the old laptop is the one I want to get rid of google chrome stuff but I want to keep all the cookies and cache info that was transferred over to my new laptop. Is what you're doing just for a specific computer or will it wipe out my info on my work and new laptop? Thank you!
Brilliant. The only one that explained it clearly. Meantime, I can only access here to comment if I put your URL address into a Chrome address bar. I watched your video directly inside You Tube and I was unable to comment. I am having this trouble with You Tube on other pages. The comments won't open when I'm inside You Tube. I have to go out and put the address into a Google Bar and then come back in again, as now. Is there some other barrier I should be deleting?
There are many arguments on cookies and what they enable companies to do. Would you please make a video explaining exactly what cookies accomplish and where you stand on this topic.
How do you do it without deleting your passwords? The last time I did it and I couldn't login to several different things, it took forever to retrieve them again
Seldom can I follow what is being said,or follow directions. But this video really hit the spot. I followed it. I will look for more of your videos for problelm solving (many problems).
Thank you so much for this easy to follow advice, even for me (I must be the world's worst in correcting things on my laptop) I'm so pleased that I can now do my internet banking again, I was about to pay someone to sort this out for me.
No Glynisskinner2550, I am the worst at my laptop (ask my family). I'm so glad I found Kevin!!!! It takes me a while to catch onto what he's saying but when I've got.....I've got it!! Thank you very much Kevin.🤔🥴😌🤗
Newbie question here. Will doing this stop ads for related products/services from showing up on my FB page? I hate it when I look up potential anniversary/birthday gifts for my wife and have ads for those things pop up on my FB feed. Kinda ruins the surprise.
Hi Kevin, I looked at your earlier references to how to remove 'history' in Google Chrome, but there is a problem with history still being on open display via another source . If one goes into Chrome Menu/Settings/Privacy & Security/Site Settings, which opens up 'Recent Activity'...just below this in the list, you will see "View permissions and data storage across sites"....clicking on this, it shows ALL the past sites visited!! How does one remove this history list of sites, as the only button allows to clear certain data, which it does, but the URLs still remain in the list? Your professionalism is trul appreciated and I hope you can help, as I think many people may not be aware that their history is still to be seen, or am doing something wrong! Not sure if you have another means of contacting you. Many thanks, Peter
If you also wanna remove apps you press the ... line by your profile do what he said clear data then you go out of that page Press cookies and other site data. Press block third party cookies or block all cookies if you want to, the google says it’s not recommended so choose wisely.. press send do not track with your browsing traffic, then press see all cookies and site data delete what you want then you can choose site that can never use cookies.. if you use a app a lot and they suggest you to use cookies go ahead and use the cookies! But first on top of the sites that never can use cookies or on the bottom of sites that can always use cookies, say add site insert the site name then you have your thing so it most chance won’t go into important files, I’m not a expert.. but I did this myself, please say something in the comments if I said something wrong.. omg it took so long to write this.
What if I don't want to delete ALL my cookies but I can't remember when I last visited an unwanted website. Like "favorites" (bookmarks), is there a way to track down cookies left from one individual site?
QOMG thx so much I was getting a script then a someone put a tracking cookie on it so then I was so nervous when my parents will find out and stuff and thx so much!
This guy is awesome....but now that I cleared my browser history and cookies....when I log back in and click history it shows me settings and privacy in the history area. is there a way to clear THAT?
Thanks Kevin. I fear cleaning my cache because I have a whole days work putting back passwords etc. I am trying to establish when in a particular platform, Allow me to use eBay as an example for your understanding and easier for me to explain. However is is not eBay. When in this troublesome platform I navigate from one internal page to another and when I attempt to do this I am logged out of the site altogether. and taken back to the login page. I re-log in OK no problems only to discover this happens again as I attempt to navigate internally, so I am going around in circles. I thought cleaning the cache would help. Any advice appreciated thanks. Of all the platforms I am involved with It only happens to one in particular.
Some websites that have search capability will retain previous words I used to search with. When I start a search, a drop-down will appear in the search bar with my old search words. How can I delete those search words?
@KevinStratvert Why not go to view permissions and data stored, pluck out all those sneaky cookies you got when approving another (thats why they are sneaky). Thanks for posting as often I cant recall where to go, fine when I get there just ????????? where is that aagain? Champion!! Are you a grasshopper Keven :_: 😝
So couple weeks ago as i was bragging about how fast my laptop was my PC started acting slow I think those cookies I accepted from sites affected my PC or could it be other stuff and how can I get rid of this other stuff ?
Hi ! Like to say ! when removing all history and all of Cookies etc.... you still have History that stays , now the location of that its in history right under it where it says ( Recently Close ) (Desktop-........) etc... ! how to get rid of those one's ? there are part of History right ? how to show picture of this in here so you see what i mean ? ( this is in Windows 11 Pro )
hi first im new with the laptop and i would love a video where you can explain about the browser how do i choose ,i had one and i could get into youtube and watch anything ,now its updoading on the right all the videos but when i click on one it does not upload and the screen is blank ,white or stays dark black .im following the instructions go into google chrome and click next to photo the 3 dots then clicking on tools etc but it wouldnt let me continue
Reference my previous comment.....issue now sorted! You have to go to Chrome menu/ Settings/ Privacy&Security/Clear browsing data/ then click Site Settings in the options.....this removes the historical list of websites contacted. If "site settings" is not ticked, the list of websites remains in situ
My computer opens up to my yahoo mail so how do I get it to open up to chrome? Thank you. Cookies are messing up my banking because two of us who use this computer saved our login and passwords. I need to get rid of cookies. Thank you.
