How to close off a rod wrap - closing a rod wrap 

I knew if I kept looking I would find a video on how to close off the Chevron or Diamond wrap. Again thank you so much for your no-nonsense videos. Your videos are extremely informative and have helped me a great deal and understanding how to wrap a pole.

Beautiful work my friend. I haven’t taken the plunge to do one myself but, it’s coming. Another great video as always.

Here is a tip ,when you start your wrap put down your first tape 2 turns now take a flat stick about 2” long now run your tape 2or 3 more turns . Now start your wraps as you are doing . Each time you you add tape it goes over the stick, now when you are done with the tie off Take and cut the tape at the stick. (I cut from left to the right) you will be able to take all the threads off easy and cut each thread and move them so they lay nice and flat and make it look smoother when you put your tie off pull on. Just the I do it works for me. The one you did is cool .
