At what point in the conversation would you use this tactic? Exp; "So you're interested in solar, why change this now...?"

this is just a less powerful version of what he said. If you did use it you would want to use it later in the sale because it's too assumptive at the beginning and might create sales pressure.

Yeah, unless it was someone looking into solar and is a hot inbound lead, you can't use this line until you've gotten the prospect to FEEL that they have a problem with their electric bill, and also WANT to fix that problem. Until you've done this, your prospect is thinking logically. And only a few people buy with logic.

Y’all missing the assumption. If you assume the sale with the right confidence and tonality they will follow along. They will admit they don’t want to pay rate hikes if you bring up that “the bill has raised yes?” At that point you then hit them with this. It is gold

Your overcomplicating most peoples true desires. We don't necessarily want to have a billion dollars we just want freedom. And sure we dont need to spend the extra money but if you want to treat yourself, why not?
