As a 19 year old college student I'm proud to say I've pretty much went from nothing to complete 102 stage following the same sort of path by complete intuition. Been thinking about jobs but want to learn php and react to build some real web applications. Thanks for the roadmap it definitely help, and makes me feel less stupid for it taking me 6-7 months to get to stage 102.

This is the first video I've seen that's summed up my bootcamp and made it easy to refrence the terminology, and understand the larger picture so I can relearn. Thanks guys!

Thank you for this breakdown! I’m actually doing full stack boot camp through Bethel School of technology and learning most of what’s here! It’s good to see what I need to know for a job in the future! Just started following you bc I was talking to your brother! Excited to watch all your other videos!
@learncodeacademy
@learncodeacademy 2 года назад
Hey nice! (which brother? haha...I have so many) Their fullstack program covers A LOT of ground...IMO, the parts you want to really make sure you catch well are the fullstack JS parts - react + express/node.js so much opportunity in those areas. Is that program on-site or remote?

Hahaha! It was Mark! I play in a worship band with him sometimes! Wow!!!! Thank you so much for that information! That’s some of the stuff I’m struggling with so I will make sure to definitely focus on that! Thank you so much!

Thank you, this is a list I was really looking for. Nice to see, that I am on the intermediate state with most of my stuff allready after a view weeks. But also good to see, what basics I should look at, before advancing further. With AI a lot of these things are even easier to learn these days. Even tho you should be able to code and understand simple js, AI will do that for you in seconds, which is really nice. Well and at the same time a bit scary, since js is what I enjoy most in therms of webpage design. This will really help me. Thank you!

I found 2 things with the format I did in the past: 1) it overwhelmed beginners because it had all the new/emerging tech 2) it bored experienced coders, because it had all of the "what to learn" core skills. This one is just for the beginners/learners...the must-know tech list.

@@learncodeacademy Great point. you're right. Although I'm already 7 years in the web-dev industry (and a lot thanks to you 💪) I always loved to see the whole picture even if I'm already on the end-side of one of the tech trees. Again, thanks for all that you're doing for all the new-comers and beginners, I always recommend your videos and courses - your teaching skills and explanations are really unique! THANKS 🙏

Yeah, the mindmap was a little better for experienced devs who were looking for a "what to learn next" kind of thing...I'm breaking that up into just what beginners should learn and then another video for pros.

I've learned a good bit of front-end up to just starting react a few years ago, but then my CS degree has led me more to back-end languages. Are there any online courses/udemy courses that you guys recommend I follow to get me to learning web dev 102 pretty fast? Going into my junior year of computer science so alot of this stuff is pretty familiar up to 102.
@learncodeacademy
@learncodeacademy 2 года назад
Working on getting full courses on 101, 102, 103, but sadly, that doesn't help you for now. Googling "intermediate javascript" "intermediate css" would probably be your best bet on finding courses.
