Thanks for the walk through. My ‘21 SE electric has the most annoying series of bings and bongs when you power up. I’m hoping this app can silence or at least shorten that series of tones…
Great video! Super helpful! Can I ask what is the reason the mirrors of my mini fail to fold/unfold after I locked and unlocked my car(after following your instructions)? Mine is 2019 mini copper s. Thank you!
@@diogobastos2866There's a button on the left from the mirror adjustment from your door. If there aren't 2 buttons then you don't have power folding mirrors
Thanks for your question. I'm sure you can. I don't know the coding instructions to do that, but I know there is a way to code in led fog lights that should turn the error messages off.
I have a question. I swapped the nav unit in a mini year 2013 because the old Nav would not work. I ran an update using im608 pro from Autel. Looked like it coded all the modules in with latest software only the nav unit still doesnt work. The display works, and the radio works etc etc. The nav unit doesnt show maps though. I believe I have to extract the FSC codes from the old nav unit and write them into this unit. Does anyone know how to do this?
@@MiniBrothas thanks anyway. You just reminded me of a question I have and need to direct it at my mate in New York. He'll know the answer. Basically I need to know how a unit stores data. Do all units use eprom and if they do, then I just open it. Find the eprom chip and extract the data then write it to the other eprom chip.
Thanks for the walk through. Do you know if the coding can be set to different driver profiles for different preferences? Just bought a 2017 F55. My wife will be the daily driver, but I'd like different settings if I want to use it.
Thanks for the question. AFAIK, you don't have the ability to code different driver settings on the mini. I know somewhere in the Head Unit, there is a "driver profile" under settings, but I'm not sure how much customization it has. I've never used it. If you find something interesting there, please let me know.
Thanks for you question. Unfortunately, I don't think you can code your transmission with Bimmercode. I have a manual transmission, so I wouldn't know if there is something you can do with an automatic transmission.
Thanks for your question. Sometimes that happens to me and I plug out the OBD-II connector and plug it back in. That usually helps. If that doesn't work, you may need a different connector.
Hi, any idea if you can code the car into sport mode using bimmercode if you don’t have the sport mode button because it’s not an optional extra I have on my car? Thanks :)
@@adamkonrath919do you know the exact changes? I saw some online for a 2018 I think, I’ve got a 2022 f60 1.5L and I’m not sure if it would be the same coding as I found.
@@nathanhockey4566 if you’ve got an f54/55/56 it’ll be the same. The only difference would be the switch required as it changed around 2015/16 I think from around the gear knob to a switch on the centre column. The switches are cheap as chips on eBay. Install is fairly straightforward. Then grab esys and add 4VA as a VO code - code to all ecus. Then you can add some tweaks via BimmerCode.
