How to Color Eyes Creatively and Naturally in Photoshop

Learn not only how to change eye color in Photoshop but also coloring it creatively and naturally. Simply changing the color is not enough, a lot of other factors like light and dimension has to be considered and implied.
In this video, we will start right from the fundamentals of color and light, and from there, we will learn the techniques to enhance, create, control and change the color of the iris (the part of the eye which is uniquely colored).
This video is divided into two parts, in the first part, we will look into coloring eyes naturally, in the second part, we'll go more creative, and apply multi-color to eyes.

when i modify hue/saturation 1 "hue" adjustment layer, it modifies all three colors. great tutorial Unmesh.

I love how you explain the colors. Gives me 'existential-crisis' thought that all colors are illusion. Good explaining it. So accurate! By the way, supposedly the subject is in the dark place and I want the eyes that glows in the dark. How should I do that?

A different photo and it works. I find that color balance works better for me also. Is there a reason you chose hue/saturation?

I'm not able to "brush away" anything back once it's brushed white. Black won't do anything to the mask, it simply won't brush over anything that's already been brushed into white. Any idea how to fix this without having to possibly restart Photoshop or what I could have pressed that caused this so I don't have to worry about it in the future?

This seems so simple, yet it refuses to work for me. The majority of her eye, which is gray refuses to color. I get a ring around the pupil that changes color while the rest does not. Weird, and frustrating.
