genuine thanks because i spent over 2 days looking at forms and stuff for an exploitation but none of them had a clear explanation on how to combo cancel. looked at this video and cleared everything up for me.

In some instances, you might have to pause a bit to account for the fact that your character's combo hasn't quite caught up with your inputs and putting in the UG portion too early will deny you the finish, as your combos may be relying on its final hit, being a "stumbler" to deny your opponent the chance to put up their block.

The best way I was able to think of the inputs is much like playing Tekken or Soul Caliber. You just put in the button inputs and the game puts them in queue. However, you do have a few moments where some of them require a slight pause in the inputs, as you may finish the combo with you opponent too high in the air from a prior hit (ex. bouncing off of the ground and waiting a slight for them to fall low enough to be caught in the rest).

I FINALLY DID IT! After a whole day. It' s harder to do this with other characters. I only mastered Naruto and Sasuke EMS. If you guys are struggling, just keep doing it. Your hands will get used to the movement and you will be able to do it fast without even trying.

Yeah. But you gotta do it at a certain time, depending which character. Example: naruto with rasengan barrage: after 12 hit combo, do the combo cancel

How do you know which time I mean i saw he says a certain hit but how do you know that certain hit

When you hit the opponent, on your screen it should say something like "1 Hit" or something like that. When using Naruto rasengan barrage, when the screen says "12 Hits" i just do it.

Fjm I do press x 2 times or 1 time depending on the cancel I wantt but ur right 1 time is cooler plus on tobi rinengan cancel u have to do it only once I think 2 times don't work...really good vid and helpfull for beginners well done ;)

im getting this game today...so im probably gonna add you on psn...i haven't played a Naruto game since Naryto 4 on gamecube...i still think that is by far the best one, especially for combos....but man, you're videos are amazing!

I think I get it. You're basically using the dash to swerve around your opponent and launch sub-combos that add up to a much bigger, much more damaging combo. Does this technique work for all the characters? Are there some individual cancels each can do?

Very good tutorial best iv seen but you could break it into three steps first the stagger, then the cancel with no ougi, then the whole thing. So you would do the combo up to the part where your opponent is staggered and stop, then same again but cancel with no ougi, then finally with the ougi. Step by step and explained perfectly in depth but so far this is the best tutorial iv found subbed and liked :)

What he has done is counter your dash, does he jump and block after you sub? It's a popular method of canceling your combo (jumping) then blocking. After you deflect off of the shield he can either dash at you, chakra shuriken or start a combo if he is fast enough.

Tilt move. Flick the Left analog (default) and press B or O. If you press B or O again when they hit you will teleport above your opponent and crash down on them.

Double tapping X is good for beginners. But it makes canceling to ougi slow. This is the advanced, cooler and quicker way.

Yes an opponent is able to sub when staggering, but i usually waste their subs first then combo cancel.

question to FJMGaming i noticed you using a ps3 controller. i have one also and a pc controller that looks exactly like it. my problem is i get the pc one to work perfect with analogs and so but when i try use 1p vs 2p and the original ps3 as 2p i cant get analog and r1 and l1 button working. can you tell me which program u use? btw nice vids!!

A combo cancel is a benefit to those who don't button spam/mash w/e you wish to call it. If you're unable to do it, that may be the reason.

Hmm, thank you even more for figuring out these combos. It's allowed me to step up my game. Let me ask: Because I've only gotten these off when a person is out of substitutions, is an opponent able to sub, once they've been hit by the stumbling portion of any combo?

For a starter I would recommend Minato. Simple 4 hits then jump to the left and ultimate.

guys the reason why its prob not workin 4 u is because u double tap A or X depending if u have a xbox or a ps3. u don't have to just tilt the left analog stick in any direction and just press it once during a combo. It works all da time

Hmm, keep trying, remember to point your left analog before jumping then quickly ultimate. Like I said in the video:- "Jump cancels the combo, ultimate cancels the jump."

Use your chakra to combo cancel and guard the first hit after you sub and press XX. Soon your enemy will run out of Subs and you can do whatever you want with him. Its pretty easy to beat deidara spam.

You are not meant to dash, if you are dashing it means you are trying to jump and perform the ougi at the same time. Jump first, verify it has been canceled then ultimate.

Do more of these tutorials bro. Also I have a question for you. Whenever I play against players with like 50k Ladder points I get smoked. This is how it plays out: I chakra dash towards them and start my combo then they use a Sub and chakra dash towards me so I use a sub aswell. Now the tricky part. I chakra dash towards them, but I get blocked and he starts comboing me without using any of his subs. Is he just faster with his chakra dash then me or whats the problem here? Cuz I dont get it
