For anyone who game says the uniform is reserved and you thought you checked all of the greats your have to ask the chef in the scum bar where can I work or sum like that and then go to the shop
Best tall tale so far, you'll appreciate this much, much more if you're as old as me and played the original point n click games back in the 90's. A beautiful recreation, the question is how long do we have to wait for the next part?
I'm not sure but I've heard around the community it's 1 month. As someone who never knew of Monkey Island before this collaboration, I still loved every part of it, so I cannot imagine the feeling you went through!
yeah i was struggling for ages turns out you have to go to the chef in the scum bar and ask why you cant work they then the reserved restriction goes and you can buy it (idk why he didnt show it in the video maybe he didnt know you had to and had already accidently did it) hope this helped :D
so idk whats going on never done the tall tale before but loaded in to do it and the crate was smashed no coins were anywhere is there a way to fix it or am i screwed
Why can’t we explore the rest of the island the tall tale was really short and since we’re having to wait a month till the next one I think we should be able to explore the whole island at least maybe I’m just missing something
I had 3 other idiots completing the tale with me. Finally found enough coin to piece the skeleton back together and got to the mansion. I missed a step getting ALL 3 tables of pirates drunk and stealing their coin.
The fact that you have to have to position the box to the very very left of the crane is just hilarious. I was about 2 pixels off and it didn't work. I lowered it, then lifted it, put it somewhat to the right (from the crane's view) again, left again, fully up again, fully down again, ... 30 minutes without any success until I almost cancelled the Tall Tale...
I really loved completing the tall tale on my own as I found it tricky and interesting... but at the end of it you just earn 2 figurines. I honestly rate this tale a 5/10 just because you earn useless trinkets.
@@Lixaru it doesnt take all that long, it takes longer to figure things out. Plus you have this tutorial, it cant be hard if he literally shows you where the pieces are.
you have to use the grog in the Scum Bar to put pirates to sleep and steal there pieces then trick the guy at the to pof the mounten so you can steal his too
This tall tale is buggy as hell. I start it, pass through the portal, and it just lags and I start taking damage. Can't even die and go to the ferryman. I restarted the game 3x and it didn't work
Notes: If you need extra coins check top of clock tower, all barrels and crates around the map also contain stacks of coins. If you can’t place head on skeleton walk back down the alley with head and return.
@@heywoah7476reboot the game and play the Talk Tale from the most recent checkpoint - replay some content then when you approach the dogs a cutscene should play and you can interact with the bowl after that
@@X70_Yeet it’s not my job to make the games I will whole heartedly admit that I am a consumer, rares job is to please us the consumers. In my comment I expressed my dissatisfaction with rares ability to deliver an update. While your point has some validity, meaning if I was a developer I probably would be sympathetic. But because I am a consumer my job is to consume and I did not like consuming this update.
I’m actually let down. The trailer had all this monkey island footage, zip lines and shit and all this was, was basically a point and click puzzle. Boring.
Well that's the point of a guide no? To show you the way on how to complete it. You want a long winded guide telling you to enjoy it and figure it out? That's not a guide my man
