Excellent. Quite a few things I never knew... like the .zip file option. Great. Thanks a lot for sharing all your tips. I shall definitely use them (I need them)!

I had a PPT that was full of sounds I added to the animation. This added a lot of size to the file. I had to delete all the added "extras" to reduce the size.

That's right. Any external media will contribute to file size. One other option is also to optimize media through File > Info > Compress Media, and that should also help to improve reliability and reduce file size of any audio or video content.

Hi, I just saw your video and I find it amazing! The thing is, in Mac it's not working for me once I change to .zip, it just opens a ".cpgz" (?) forever and won't open the files contained on the folder. Do you know how can I make this work? Thank you.

It appears to be a Mac OSX issue, which is a bit odd. It looks like a decent solution is here - osxdaily.com/2013/02/13/open-zip-cpgz-file/ - once you have a stable zip file, then the method should work on a Mac just as it does on a PC. Let us know how you get on.

It really depends what is making the file large. The zip file method will help to identify what the main contributors to file size are, and then you can focus on those parts.
