I used to live in an area where kids would threaten to pour gasoline in your window if you piss them off and they would try to follow you back to your house on bike. Be 100% ready for your Target to brake line of sight for a second and then immediately Sprint or drive incredibly fast. On top of that changing outfits new hat new sunglasses different color shirt etc. lol sorry so long
Generation Zero. All these criminal robots are trying to kill us. We need the info dumps. Many thanks to this channels owner and the fine ladies and gents who comment. I'm a no military experience civi, but they're are so many good ex mil, LE, and trained civilians out there helping my self and others out to stay sage and protect our families and the Republic. God bless all of you, and fuck the robots.
Thank you for not doing a 2 minute shooting montage with copyright-free bad rock music. I know what shooting looks like. Also thank you for not yelling at me. Straight to the info. Youre probably my favorite youtuber on this stuff. Thanks for doing it.
yawwwwn. If y'all were any good at this surveillance crap, you'd have busted a few C.I.A. agents by now (selling their fentanyl shit to local drug dealers). Vomitus.🤮🤮🤮
@@user-gy8ex3zw9cnot everybody is on your team your bud your human body is just a frail as ours you have weaknesses just like we do you bleed out and die the same as we do im the type that makes you start to hate your job i make sure you work really hard for the money you get paid plus all the money in the world wont bring you back from the dead ...fact
I’m a private investigator, I specialize in field surveillance. Been doing it 7 years. This is an extremely useful topic, and you covered the basics well. Conducting surveillance is ALL “common sense”.
Today's mission: while driving, follow a random car for three turns, then resume going wherever you wanted to go. This will give long lasting paranoia to the random driver.
@@Luzum That would imply that you actually have been keeping tabs on them and that specific area is just where you decide to make your presence obvious. Much more intimidating in my opinion
I almost never wear two of them at the same time anyway. Used to have to walk everywhere, learned that I really liked being able to stay aware of what was going on around me while I had a nice little soundtrack for the several mile walk.
Miss these kinds of old school videos. Someone with information willing to share and break it down simply for us common people. Glad these videos are coming back.
There was a TV show I used to watch back before everyting was drivil called Burn Notice. It was about a burnt spy trying to get by in Miami. I remember one episode where they were trying to identify/loose a tail, and his advice was act like a clueless driver. Stuff like signal one way, and turn another. Cut through an industial area for a short cut. Sit at a stop sign way too long. Good show with tid bits of real relevent info sprinkled in. Also has Bruce Campbell in it in one of his best roles outside of Evil Dead...
With you and S2 Underground I am getting alot of good info and thinking in areas outside of my daily focus that id improving my awareness and capabilities. Thank you!
I was raised by a mother who was so convinced she was being followed and hunted down that she put up stickers in her car window that said STOP STALKING ME. Drove to me to school in that car. So I decided to prove she was safe by being as vigilant as possible for years. Thanks for the info
This stuff is huge for intelligence gathering. Good guys do it. Bad guys do it. If you live in a populated area, it’s happening around you constantly. There’s an entire world just under the surface of the common bustle that you probably never notice.
Please do more of this if possible. If you can speak with experience or know people who can in the communities you used to run in we need more videos on clandestine type stuff: Dead drops: How to do them, why do you do them and a real world example. Any sort of urban recon and counter recon How to recruit an asset and run an asset network. Why you would want to do so . Any additional spy craft stuffs RU-vid is already flooded with gun/gear reviews, basic infantry patrolling /battle drills More spy craft stuff. Thanks as always
interesting note about the footwear. i was watching some minecraft recently and saw someone causing trouble while wearing some nice looking athletic shoes and it just struck me as odd..
Plus, if you have flip flops on, no one would respect you. 😂it’s almost as much a joke as gangster pants halfway down around here. We wear shit kickers to the beach ‘round hea’. No ones gonna fake a Maine accent, or chat a local up,without raising some questions.
love how your channel isnt available in germany when i click on it, but i still get your videos in my recommended. will continue to download each and every of your videos incase you vanish completely
The trick is to do an sdr without it being obvious. That way you spot the tail, they dont realise u know and then you can go on about your day doing boring normal things and hopefully remove suspicion and doubts about you. Some people working under moscow rules would not be activated for 6 months until they had confirmes they had been placed under surveillance and the russkies lost interest and believed their cover story because the surveillance turned up nothing. Remember sdr behavior confirms u are up to something u dont want others to see.
Love your videos, im just a normal american, never served working a blue collar labor job. This information is useful for everyone. All training is larping not all larping is training.
An extensive urban/on-foot CSR has at least a stop, a stay and a backtrack. Examples: Stop: pull 10 bucks out an ATM or read the fine print on a poster. Rationale: Stopping with you is suspicious so a well-trained team will use this to swap observers. Stay: go into a shop or cafe, disappear from street view for at least a couple of minutes. Rationale: keeping up direct surveillance necessitates sending people into an environment where you have the initiative and any tails are easier to identify. Backtrack: Be "distracted", "miss" your station on the metro or "forget" something at the cafe, leading to you having to go directly back.
I learned these things, among others, in 2015 when I was being GangStalked in Florida.. If you’re in a spot where others might have access, close a small piece of paper in the door hinge towards the bottom of the door. If anyone has gained entry while you weren’t around, the paper will be on the floor.

Thank you for the video. I love this channel. Does anyone out there have any recommendations for other channels focused on tactics like this one? I'm tired of guntubers trying to sell me shit. I'm never going to the Sonoran Desert Institute.
reminds me of that time i was being followed from a local mcdonalds where i was having lunch, i saw them watching me and writing something down which seemed odd to me. I sat there waiting to see if they'd leave before me, eventually they left though and i left about 5 minutes after that. suspecting they were probably waiting for me, i stepped out the door and stood still to light a cigarette so noone would suspect anything if i was just standing still and looking around for a split second. I did see them standing around a bit further off but i was downtown so it might have been a coincidence. after my cigarette was lit i decided to walk in the opposite direction i was actually meaning to go in as i was going to loop around. i walked into a busy street, they followed, i turned left, they followed, turned left again, they followed, bingo. I knew i just led them back into street with the mcdonalds we started at. i waited around the corner with one hand on my cigarette and the other on my knife (can never be too careful). I hadnt actually seen who or what was following me yet as i could only see from the corner of my eyes (your eyes are the first thing to give you away as we're programmed to notice them). at this point i have the adrenaline coarsing through me as i'm about to face my stalker... They were actually two girls and one of them wanted to give me her instagram but felt like it was too weird to do it in the mcdonalds, I think I have issues
@@ViktoriousDeadit's probably schizophrenia lol, but I've been through similar shit, just without girls talking to me. Or even people walking up to me after the fact.
Come try over here in LCNM an see how far you get not everybody with a group wins it's the ones that stay solo are the real threat with the proper defenses you can take on a battalion in which none of you by yourselves will never achieve ignorance is pure bliss and arrogance leads to a destiny of humiliation
@@kiannolivingston1506 Punctuation is also, very, very crucial to helping others understand your sentence. It's always tough guys who are illiterate lol.
Good stuff, this tradecraft is part of the butter for my bread. I will note that sometimes you're relegated/ stuck to only one vic, obviously all dependent on logistics/ capabilities and where and what kind of advance work/ surveillance you're doing (e.g. PACE routes or SDR planning, venue targeting, etc.). SDR can also be a static section of a designated route to conduct surveillance or target confirmation on, minor additional nuance/ tactic (typically on an identified common route relatively near a target venue/ site or conducted after pattern identification of mobile surveillance).
I initially wanted this video to be much longer and go it is advancing a location, patterns of life and travel, breakdown of an EP/PSD position wise/etc… but realized it was gonna be way longer than I realized and also not particularly applicable to the channel, albeit good to know. Primarily just wanted to get people thinking about this topic, to have a rudimentary understanding and be more observant
@@ViktoriousDead Yeah you did good bro, I've done a couple vids on the topic too breaking them down into something digestible but not super long (though I do love longform vids on tradecraft education like this), I get it. CAT/ERT is a big thing for me alongside EP/PSD, you ever want to collab or do a panel talk or anything I'm down.
i love this guy’s videos. i write a lot of fics and his videos are great for getting a decent bearing on how to write characters. in the case of his more military-themed videos, great for making your insurgent characters or whatever seem semi-competent even if you yourself are not very knowledgeable about how that stuff works. actual full on 10/10 youtuber
Real good video wish I had something/someone like you when I first became a private investigator. I just do white collar crimes... like frauds and worker comp stuff etc, so nothing really "dangerous" but messing with peoples money you never know. - I've always carried and taken it as serious as possible and have great success in the field since getting out of the army.
@@ViktoriousDead will be watching all of them at some point. If you don't mind saying, where did you gain all this knowledge? Was it apart of your career at some point? If you said so in the video I may have missed it.
Another great things for sdrs is that you should maybe take a route that starts out opposite of where you are headed maybe even turn around at one point. If the same guy keeps coming after you, you are definitely on a to watchlist.
I miss one crucial part of (counter) surveillance on the road. So to keep it cryptical: Where eyes go, goes the hands involuntary. What means that if the person if front of you looks into its rearview mirror often they will make Micro Movements with their car. The more suspicious a person gets, the more often they look into their mirrors and the more often you can spot those micro movements. This way you can literally see if someone detected you driving behind them. The other way around, trained proffesionals will use this technique on You, so loose your grip on the wheel and only hold it loosely to avoid making those micro movements when looking into your mirrors
I have to disagree with you, boss man: 2 most distinct accents in the (lower 48) U.S. are not MIDWEST and southern, they’re Southern and New Englanders (specifically Mainers down to Boston Massholes). Everything else, good stuff.
I would recommend your video on your phone. Record portions of your sdr on your phone giving yourself a running commentary of cars behind and infront of you. At the stop light. In the parking lot. At the gas station. Then you can listen back and look for patterns.
Here is a PROFESSIONAL book that taught me a lot (not a lame "underground" book) Surveillance Tradecraft: The Professional's Guide to Surveillance Training
Ford Probe.... Man, I had hoped thay those were just part of a bad dream, along with the Chrysler K car. Anybody else notice the Subarus, which used to be known as "Lesbian Limosines" are now the #1 bug man car?
Yup, most redacted I see are usually in subies or Priuses, with love stickers on the rear windshield. Subarus are cool if you lift them and best the shit out of them, then theyre cool. As a daily driver though it raises suspicion.
If possible; Take a series of turns that ends with you back on the original road you started on heading in the same direction you were heading when you initiated the SDR. If someone follows you doing this it is 100% confirmation they are tailing you as you just took a pointless detour aside from detecting surveillance
Dress how you look, use stereotypes to your advantage without leaning into them. So whichever demographic you most closely resemble and can easily mimic. For example, young adults will do best wearing what they normally would, even when out of state since that’s to be expected. But a 50 year old in a miniskirt will draw some attention
More advanced things like this I would be into but your hitting a lot of notes for the common person to understand, I was a medic at STB for a while. I like your channel man I’d definitely support you you have a spot for donations?
From having done some PI work surveiling people who claim injuries with the specific goal of getting video footage, some of the things you said surveillance wouldn't do are actually what I would do. Having only one car is one, because it's a cost/benefit decision. Another is pulling in behind a target at, say, a gas station or store. I would probably stop and discreetly film them or follow them in on foot to film them with a concealed camera. There are other reasons to follow someone, but injury claims are the most consistent and well-paying for a PI. So where you go or even losing track of you for a bit is secondary to getting video. In any case, I could just pick you back up at home.
Another thing to remember whether on foot or in a vehicle, don’t focus on your target. If you’re in a vehicle, look out your window, fidget with the radio, etc. normal things people do when they drive. If you stare at the vehicle in front of you the whole time, it’s a dead giveaway. Same with on foot. Use your peripherals to watch someone. Look at other things every now and then.
Is this what you learned back in the Regiment? I saw other youtube videos of former Rangers talking about their experience doing low visibility operations in places like Syria, and I'd imagine this skillset is necessary to know.
Lets say you're a 3 vehicle team following someone, would this be a good idea? I follow the subject in the first for a few turns and intentionally raise suspicion, then when subject gets suspicious I take a different turn to take them off edge? Will they think "Oh I'm just being paranoid, nobody is following me." making them doubt their future instincts of being followed, so the 2 other following cars are less noticable, or will subject be more suspicious?
@@Shhh11. you don’t want to raise suspicions at all. If one vehicle is burned I.E it’s behind the target for too many turns that guy essentially needs to drop out of the stack, maybe squire a different vehicle
I think the outfit you're describing at 1:20 would work in the PNW, but it depends where. Seattle? Might be a bit weird. Portland? A stretch but yeah. Eastern Washington and Oregon? Go for it. And if you count Idaho as the PNW then it's fine there too.
Thanks to your knowledge I have acquired significant intelligence on my person of interest. I have extensive knowledge of their weekly routine, and I know exactly where they are at any given moment. I know their hobbies. I know their friends. I know their colleges. Unrelated, but can you post a guide on how to approach a woman?
Always let your secondary pick up the tail on the road when the subject turns. No matter what. I got "Mad Ivan'd" on one of my first tails. Buddy took two immediate turns and parked. I took the bait, and he waved at me. Had to let him loose for a couple months. Basically what you called a "natural turn around" 😂 my partner never let me live it down! Our protocol was to stay one turn behind the subject at all times. A bit tighter in the city. Gotta have 2-way radios and back up batteries. A booster antenna as well. Physcial maps of the roadway and a compass are a must. Phones and service go down. Also never set up shop in your surveillance van in a penitentiary parking lot. They are very picky and don't like spooks 😅
Just found your RU-vid and love it so far. Just gotta ask. Who are you? I tried to track down a website with an "About us" tab to find credentials but couldn't find one. Not doubting your credentials just curious.
