Sir pass through authentication use is that the authentication will got to onprem ad not the Azure and that is why we need to enable password write back when we select pass through authentication because password doesn’t sync with Azure. If we do not enable password writeback then if a user change the pass from azure portal then it will not sync because of passthrgh auth
