DHCP Server Configuration in Linux Step By Step Procedure:

1. Login as root user and configure yum repository. If you don't know how to configure it then click below link to watch the videos:

2. Set the Static IP Address in your server.
#nmtui
OR
vim /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-ens33
3. Install DHCP Packages from local yum repo.
yum install -y dhcp*
4. Make proper changes in configuration (dhcpd.conf) file as per your requirements. You can also set static IP Addresses with it.
vim /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf
5. Start and enable DHCP service.
systemctl start dhcpd
systemctl enable dhcpd
Check the status of service if required.
systemctl status dhcpd
6. Now test the configuration, login to client machine and restart the network manager.
systemctl restart NetworkManager
7.Check the IP Address, which should be in range of configuration settings you have made in dhcpd.conf file.
You are done.
