I just found your channel and LOVE IT...starting to binge watch! I'm a beginner looking to increase my privacy. I am switching to firefox for my browser thanks to you and your instructions on configuration. Id like to know your opinion as I'm stuck on something.I'm debating which of these 3 options is best. The first option being using 4 different web browsers, 1 for each (email, banking, shopping and general web browsing). Option 2 is using Firefox exclusively and having 4 different user profiles set up so essentially I'd be using 4 different Firefox browsers. Option 3 is to use just 1 Firefox user profile and create "containers". I love the containers option the best but scared it will make tracking and fingerprinting worse than going with 4 different browsers. PLEASE let me know your thoughts.
Happy to hear that you are enjoying the info. What I personally do is use 3 different browsers. I use google for any google site and only those as Google tracks too much. Edge I use for any Microsoft based sites and the rest I use Firefox. Profiles are a pain and containers open up too many privacy concerns.
Thanks for the tips and easy to understand and follow steps. Would you use Lastpass as an add on or website? Also what do you think of the Facebook Container addon?
I'm new to Firefox browser techs. Update 91.0 has moved the search tab from the center of the page to the URL tab. Is there a way to get the search tab back to the center of the page? I am using IOS system. Thanks.
There are a lot of decent add-ones out there, that is for sure. I'll have to look into ublock a little more as I have not used that particular ad blocker.
That is a good question but, I am not 100% positive. On my browser it is on. It is possible that you might be using an older browser - Please check for browser updates and install and that are available. You might have to remove and reinstall the HTTPS extension.
