How to Configure RGB on Linux!!
In today's video, I show you how to configure your RGB devices on Linux. If you have a Razer device, this video is for you! I'll show you how to set up the OpenRazer drivers for your Razer devices, as well as a GUI for that called PolyChromatic, and also OpenRGB which can work with more devices. This video also goes over how to setup your corsair devices with rgb on Arch Linux.

I've been waiting on all of the custom effects features in Polychromatic they have been working on and they are finally working. Now you can make custom RGB animations and they have other effect types coming and we will be able to share and download effects with the community. Hopefully we get some talented people making cool effects.

If installing headers didn't work, try installing the same headers as your kernel manually: i.e. i'm running Manjaro 5.10 kernel, so sudo pacman -S linux510-headers

You are right, also it works when a tryed use xsensors at a Ryzen 5

Thx for the advices. Worked for me in the most cases. Only rgb's of my asus rog strix 6700xt oc do not work. they are static red. My graphikcard is not found into the menue. of the open-rgb-tool.

OpenRGB oesn't work with Viper Ultimate, at least not when the Polychromatic client is installed and in use. The mouse dock doesn't work either.

That must be annoying! I don't have that mouse so unfortunately I can't test it.

Viper Ultimate should be supported in the upcoming 0.6 release. I reworked how Razer devices are supported, they no longer require OpenRazer (though it will still work with OpenRazer installed).
